  • I oppose the redirect suggestion. All the article mentions is that a few franchises were purchased from them, it's insufficient to help the reader more than letting the search function do its job. We shouldn't rush to redirect pages to pointless targets regardless of how helpful it will be, the search exists for a reason. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 12:32, 30 July 2025 (UTC)

Fails WP:CORPDEPTH, coverage of the company consists of trivial announcements and mentions. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 04:32, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

Its notability is connected to Ryan Clark, question is whether those Independent Games Festival nominations etc are sufficient for WP:NARTIST. IgelRM (talk) 14:03, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
It does seem that Clark passes WP:NARTIST due to his primary role at the studio he founded, creating numerous notable games. However, I can't find any RS about him either. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 19:58, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Its notability is also connected to its partnership with Nintendo on Nintendo's arguably best known IP. See, e.g., coverage from IGN, Inverse. Thewritestuff92 (talk) 20:57, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
Yes, Cadence of Hyrule is unquestionably notable as a game given how incredibly rare it is for Nintendo to license their IP to an indie. However, that is not "inherited" by the studio. Given that it was essentially a one-off situation, it doesn't seem that the studio in itself is notable due to it. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 21:26, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

Notability isn't shown through reliable sources (see analysis table below). The author of the article admitted in the draft process that there weren't a lot of articles they could locate that were significant coverage. If this is the best that can be found, then there isn't truly significant coverage to be found. A Google News search shows a lot of press release type things and some coverage of individuals being mentioned in the magazine, but little about the magazine itself. CountryANDWestern (talk) 21:58, 8 July 2025 (UTC)

Source analysis
Source 1 Behind a paywall; the title, "Meet Kimberly Chapman" suggests the article focuses on the magazine's founder and not the magazine itself.
Source 2 An interview with the founder; magazine gets mentioned in two sentences.
Source 3 A press release from the magazine about its awards ceremony.
Source 4 Main crux of the article is about the subject, Whitfield, being on the cover of the magazine and then talks in more depth about her, not the magazine.
Source 5 An article/blog post by a contributor to Sheen ("I am not sure if you are aware or not but I write for a beauty & entertainment magazine, Sheen.")
Source 6 Gossip column type fare about the fashion at a party that the magazine hosted.
Source 7 Seems to be just a link to a Sheen Magazine article.

Looks like a completely made up or non notable rivalry based on these teams looking like "the best in the Eastern Conference" for 3 straight years in which Miami won all 3. Non Divisional, basically based on playoffs. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NRIVALRY. Delete or find an appropriate Redirect if it is notable enough for this. Conyo14 I couldn't find it at 2 because I have apparently reached my free article limit despite not reading previously at all, I believe it is there. I would argue these articles basically talk about it when it being hyped as a heating up rivalry. There have been many sports rivalries that have worn down when they were regarded as future top rivalries. And these are basically articles around the time of the rivalry. I will let every editor make up their mind nonetheless. Thank you Servite et contribuere (talk) 18:51, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Something that helps is disabling JavaScript, but if it's extra pay-walled, perhaps someone else can provide a link. However, I will remain neutral on this topic, only providing links if I find them. Conyo14 (talk) 18:54, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
  • Comment - I don't understand the statement in the nomination "Non Divisional, entirely based on playoffs." Notable rivalries can be based primarily or entirely on playoffs. One of the most notable rivalries in American sports has been the Yankees-Dodgers from the 1941 to the 1981 before they ever met in the regular season, and were never in the same division, let alone the same league. Another example, this time from basketball, is Celtics-Lakers. And this is clearly not "completely made up" given Conyo's sources. Unless there is a valid deletion rationale, I would say procedural keep. Rlendog (talk) 19:33, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
Rlendog Honestly, yeah. It was bad wording by me that I got from other completely made up rivalries. Servite et contribuere (talk) 00:22, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
  • Sports "rivalry" articles are often flooded with WP:ROUTINE match coverage. The main notability guideline's event section WP:SBST addresses this by saying:

Even a large number of news reports that provide no critical analysis of the event is not considered significant coverage.

The guideline also says in WP:WHYN:

We require the existence of at least one secondary source so that the article can comply with Wikipedia:No original research's requirement that all articles be based on secondary sources.

So, can anyone identify one to three WP:SECONDARY independent reliable sources to establish this as a notable recurring event per the guideline requirement? Left guide (talk) 22:11, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

  • Delete This is a company therefore GNG/WP:NCORP requires at least two deep or significant sources with each source containing "Independent Content" showing in-depth information *on the company*. "Independent content", in order to count towards establishing notability, must include original and independent opinion, analysis, investigation, and fact checking that are clearly attributable to a source unaffiliated to the subject. The brand was "launched" in August 2023 and these sources are simply regurgitating the same information provided by the founder about herself and the new brand. Fails ORGIND and NCORP. please read this discussion in rfd, as i'll be assuming you've done so when i suggest deleting to start from scratch, because i'm not even entirely sure the content that was made from the scraps of a revision blanked as spam can be called a stub, as it barely meets the bare minimum for gng, and barely does the bare minimum with that bare minimum coverage, which is really weird when more sources have already been found (though their reliability is up for debate, so check the rfd thread again, because they're piled up there)

the options, as i see them, culminate in deletion being the best choice to encourage recreation (or rather, creation), as keeping and redirecting could cause editors more excited about this than literally falling asleep while checking sources to think the current situation is fine, unless someone is in the mood to actually add more to it consarn (grave) (obituary) 20:36, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

hey wait a minute, the current revision at the time of nomination doesn't even meet the bare minimum for gng, as it only has sources from two different places!! this means that, unless worked on within the time this discussion is up, i don't think keeping would be an option at all consarn (grave) (obituary) 20:45, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Auton (film series) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

A film series for the Doctor Who franchise. I recently did research for the Autons, and while digging, I did a little bit of research on these films, but could find absolutely nothing on them. The only mentions were brief, and mentioned the films existed, but said nothing more. I can't find any dev info, let alone SIGCOV that would provide reception for the films. The only source from the article providing any commentary is a single book, with any other source being fanzines or Doctor Who Magazine, which is a PRIMARY source officially published for the Doctor Who franchise, and with BBV being tied to the BBC in production of these films, I doubt it passes a threshold of separation from the Magazine's usual advertisement. This article also suffers from WP:COATRACK, courtesy of all three being separate, non-notable subjects covered together to cobble together an article. I'd suggest a redirect to either BBV Productions where these films are listed, or Nestene Consciousness and Autons, where these films are also listed, as an AtD. • Comment I don't think coatrack applies as the films are obviously connected on the same subject by the same producers and the same distributors. Regarding the book source for critical analysis "Downtime - The Lost Years of Doctor Who" by Dylan Rees it would be considered more reliable if it has been used in scholarly sources ? imv Atlantic306 (talk) 22:23, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
@Atlantic306 I don't deny the Downtime source, but the fact it's quite literally the only reliable piece of SIGCOV is the biggest problem. An article relying basically exclusively on one source is a huge issue; I've found substantially more content comparatively on other BBV films, these ones definitely seem to be the outlier in terms of actual SIGCOV that exists. If there's any more out there I missed I'd be happy to see it though. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 04:00, 23 July 2025 (UTC)

Is there another Wikimedia project that it would fit better on? I would like it to continue to exist, even though this isn't the right place for it. – Ike Lek (talk) 22:38, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
How do you use this table and how know the quality is "great" when there are no sources? Is that because you checked a sample by flipping round language links? Perhaps a Belarussian reading this would like to translate it to Belarussian Wikipedia? However I don’t know their rules. Another alternative if you need it in bulk might be to make a Wikidata query. Or could AI nowadays flip round the language links on your request? Or are you saying it is useful to you because some articles don't exist in other languages? In which case without sources how can you trust the info? Chidgk1 (talk) 06:25, 16 July 2025 (UTC)

Company fails WP:CORPDEPTH with a lack of significant coverage. There is coverage of one specific controversy involving the studio, but that alone does not confer inherited notability on the studio itself. Contested PROD that claims WP:SOURCESEXIST, but no examples given, nor could I find any in any language. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 12:04, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

The sources exist, independently from the controversy.[11][12][13] Inven is a video gaming outlet, but the latter two — News1 and Pressian — are legitimate news media commonly cited here and their coverage goes beyond simple mentions, reporting about the company's prospect. They are not in the article yet, but I can add them. Emiya Mulzomdao (talk) 12:26, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
Please read WP:CORPTRIV. The 2nd and 3rd articles are very clearly "standard notices, brief announcements, and routine coverage". ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 20:59, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
That is not a routine coverage. It's Suwon city goverment investing on the company, which is rare and far from standard. Reports related to the controversy also satisfy audience requirement since newspapers like Yonhap News Agency, Kyunghyang Shinmun, and The Hankyoreh are some of the biggest news agencies in the nation. All of these are best compiled in the article about the company. Emiya Mulzomdao (talk) 12:42, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
It is a brief 1-paragraph article that says that someone invested in the company. This falls under WP:CORPTRIV as "of a capital transaction, such as raised capital", or something similar. Who did it is irrelevant. I think my point has been made though, so I won't push it further besides stating my opinion you are incorrect. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 22:01, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
Suwon's investment agreement is always a focal point of the regional newspapers due to the major perks and development in the special case city economics, which are stated in the articles, so I disagree with that. Emiya Mulzomdao (talk) 12:45, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
Your take on the article is a fundamental misunderstanding of NCORP guidelines. The articles are regurgitations of announcements by Suwon so not "independent content" and fails ORGIND. Now, you say an investment by Suwon is rare and therefore notable - ok, perhaps that is true but all we care about is that sourcing provided in-depth independent content about the company. If it really was rare and notable, why has no other publication written an article using "independent content"? If you can find one which doesn't simply regurgitate the same content as the announcement then that is a source that would be counted towards notability. HighKing++ 11:07, 31 July 2025 (UTC)

Reverted redirect without improvement. Searches did not turn up enough in-depth coverage from independent, reliable sources to support meeting WP:GNG. Onel5969 TT me 20:08, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

  • Keep First of all, I've created the page and after a while "User:Onel5969" redirected page despite this notable content. If the internet was widespread in 1979, there would have been more online resources like the 2009 Mediterranean Games. Are we to say that an article is not noteworthy simply because of technological backwardness? Old newspaper archives are invaluable resources for sports organizations and difficult to access unless they have been transferred online. However, when the same information is checked from newspaper sources in different countries, there is no doubt about the accuracy of the information. I used four fundamental newspaper archives for 1979 Mediterranean Games. Slovenian Delo and Primorski dnevnik, Spanish El Mundo Deportivo, and Serbian Borba. These four newspaper archives can be accessed free and online. Unfortunately, I'm currently having problems accessing these newspaper archives, but I think it can be solved in time because 3 months ago these archives were active and I remember I used these sources last summer. For this reason, I cannot provide in-line references, otherwise I can create almost the same article like them: Water polo at the 1979 Mediterranean Games and Basketball at the 1979 Mediterranean Games. Because, there is quite a lot of content related to the Mediterranean Games in the sports pages of the relevant newspapers dated September 1979. If the 1979 Mediterranean Games are noteworthy, I don't think there can be any doubt that the sports of these games are noteworthy. If the sports of the Mediterranean Games are not noteworthy, I can throw away my research in the newspaper archives. The Mediterranean Games are no different from the Asian Games or the Pan-American Games. Because there are many articles on sports such as Sepak takraw at the 1990 Asian Games, which is not a widespread sport, but I'm surprised that the notability of a sport such as rugby, which is widely popular around the world, is questioned in an international sports event where countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea compete.
  • All in all, I think it would be very unfair if this page is deleted because I can't provide in-line references or because the newspaper archive links are temporarily not working. However, please feel free to delete it if it will not be noteworthy just because it is rugby, even though I can footnote the relevant sources score by score as a result of the discussion here. You can even delete the other 3 rugby pages in the Mediterranean Games (in here. I would also like to ask for suggestions for other sports articles such as water polo because I don't want to spend hours adding information for a team sport other than football, basketball and volleyball if it will be deleted like this.
  • P.S. I've checked this page and so far no rugby related article in any international sports organization has been deleted except for the Maccabiah Games which is an international multi-sport event featuring Jews and Israelis.--Sabri76'talk 07:39, 14 July 2025 (UTC)

  • Comment - First of all, official online Mediterranean Games document only contains the standings about every tournament. I've looked at Serbian, Slovenian and Spanish newspaper archives and I've easily found exact pages These referenced newspapers contain one or two pages of news about all the sports at the 1979 Mediterranean Games. Rugby was given as much coverage as volleyball and basketball. The reason athletics was given so much coverage may be because there were so many sports and athletes. Rugby news generally follows the same format as basketball news, providing first-half and second-half scores, group standings, and medal standings. I think WP:SIGCOV has been provided. If this article is non-notable, basketball tournament is also non-notable aspects of a notable topic because it is difficult to make comment on the impact of success or failure in the Mediterranean Games on countries' national basketball teams. However I have many proof that winning of 1993 Football tournament has a great effect on Turkish football history. There are many Mediterranean Games articles (e.g. Cycling at the 1979 Mediterranean Games) like Asian Games and if you dig deeper, you might find some interesting stuff about the scores or the players who scored them. For example, right before the 1991 Mediterranean Games started, Slovenian athletes left the Yugoslavian team and went back home after the newly independent Slovenian government asked them to. Please look at Cycling at the 2022 Mediterranean Games, how can you expand on this article? Should we add interesting information such as a crash in a bicycle race and the end of an athlete's career? If you want to add more detail to this article, you could add the rankings of cyclists who did not win medals. If we take Onel5969's point of view, we need to face with a mass deletion campaign on this wikipedia.--Sabri76'talk 23:42, 26 July 2025 (UTC)

I think there is not enough content on this subject to quite justify having its own article yet, separate to the main Swedish Air Force article. I suggest that content from this article should merge into that one. I have already copied over the relevant part of tis article to expand that one here. David Palmer//cloventt (talk) 21:03, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

Hey David,
I believe there's enough content to justify the article. I realize I may have published it a bit prematurely and not as a fully finished piece, but compared to when I’ve researched other topics—like the Altair-class training ship—there’s a lot more information available on the Space Division, at least in Swedish. I’m working on expanding the article, but at my own pace.
From what I’ve read, it seems the Space Division is going to play a significant role in the Swedish Armed Forces going forward, so I created the article hoping to establish it early on Wikipedia.
Thank you, Kålrabbis (talk) 09:26, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
I understand.
I notice in the introduction there is a citation saying that this division is based in Stockholm. But the source seems to actually be about the Swedish Space Agency rather than the Air Force division, with a brief mention that Ella Carlson "was" the commander of the Air Force space division, and has since moved to the Agency.
Are these separate entities like the source describes? If so, who is the current commander of the Air Force space division? This source would seem to contradict other statements in the article. David Palmer//cloventt (talk) 10:55, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
Found a Svenska Dagbladet piece which in 2022 identified Carlsson as "rymdchef, tillika chef över rymdavdelningen, inom flygvapnet" I'm unacquainted with Swedish military divisions but it sounds like there could be two different space related orgs that she led? Also found another small article about the Space Division here. I need to review the existing sources a bit more but so far I think there's probably enough to justify a standalone article if we can untangle the distinction between the two space groups. Zzz plant (talk) 11:59, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
I'm also no expert, but my understanding is that these two titles are not an indication of two different groups. She was appointed rymdchef, i.e. generally responsible for preparing to meet any threats related to space, but in itself not indicating leading any part of the organization. She also built up rymdavdelningen, which she led. /Julle (talk) 14:00, 19 July 2025 (UTC)

  • Keep. As long as there are other lists of European exonyms, I don't see any reason why this specific one should be deleted. Or there should be one discussion about deleting them all. The page needs significant improvement (e.g. deleting the aforementioned Albánský Bělehrad), but poor condition is not a reason for deletion. And the page is not a dictionary. FromCzech (talk) 10:15, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
There was one discussion about deleting them all, in March 2024. It failed (no consensus) as too sweeping; some (Chinese exonyms, Arabic exonyms) are less dictionary-like than others. So now Chidgk1 is nominating them singly. —Tamfang (talk) 20:32, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
Yeah, but a bundle of European exonym lists, maybe starting with just 5-10 of them, could still make sense. I respect what Chidgk1 is doing, even though I am often arguing to keep them. Such is bureaucracy, I suppose. Ike Lek (talk) 20:43, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
  • Delete per WP:NOTDICT: most exonym articles are indiscriminate lists of examples of the trivial and obvious fact that each language adapts foreign names to its own phonology and/or orthography. I suspect this article is either original research or doesn't meet notability criteria (in addition to being too technical for most readers to understand).

Collaborative control as a general concept makes sense. But it's not clear to me that "CCT" as it is branded in this page is really a distinct concept that's widely recognized and clearly defined by the broader academic community. For example, the article states that there are 8 core principles, and goes on with very precise naming for them. However, when Googling some of these principles in conjunction (e.g., "Collaboration Requirement Planning" "e-Work Parallelism"), I find only a dozen of articles with very few citations. In general, while many articles talk about "collaborative control", but they don't seem to refer specifically to "CCT" as it is defined here.

I am not familiar with the area, so I would like the community's opinion on this. I would have no strong opinions if people think this article should be kept. 7804j (talk) 18:24, 16 July 2025 (UTC)

  • Keep – Karen Vardanyan is a notable Armenian businessman and philanthropist, widely recognized in Armenia.
He is the CEO of the largest confectionery producer in Armenia and a prominent public figure. His contributions span across business and philanthropy. He has been covered extensively in reliable sources, including major Armenian news outlets.
Moreover, this article exists in both Armenian and Russian Wikipedias, which further supports his regional notability. The English article has been improved and now cites multiple independent and verifiable sources, demonstrating that the subject clearly meets Wikipedia’s WP:GNG.
Deleting the article would mean erasing the presence of a significant figure in Armenian economic and social life from the English-language encyclopedia.
    • Conclusion: The article meets notability criteria and should be kept.

  • Keep. As noted above, sources exist in other languages including Russian and Armenian that establish notability. Some effort has already gone into adding these to the article. The formatting is bogus in several places, but that can be resolved outside of AfD.
Gbp190, there is a template at {{ill}} or Template:Interlanguage link. This will add both a red link for the en-wiki article and blue link to the article in another language. When another editor gets around to creating the red-linked article, it will then automatically turn into a regular wikilink. When you add sources in the standard source editor, templates need to be closed within curly braces to work. So <ref>{{cite web|...}}</ref> rather than <ref>cite web|...</ref>. You can also use the drop-down menu in the source editor's toolbard under "v Cite" and "Templates v"; this gives an easy form to fill out for the 4 most-used citation templates. Thanks for taking the time to track down sources and improve the article, Rjjiii (talk) 00:37, 20 July 2025 (UTC)

Relisting comment: Relisting, could we get a formal source analysis to back up these Keep votes?
