Department of Financial Services (India) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Department of Financial Services (India). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Charlie (talk) 18:51, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Masoom Shankar
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Masoom Shankar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Masoom Shankar. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Thanks for message, I assume that you meant ColorPlus (brand)
If an article isn't ready, you should create as a draft, not in article space, I see above that you have been advised of that more than once previously. You have also misread the deletion tag, I deleted as G11 promotion, not A7, although that would have been equally valid.
You wrote a promotional article. If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at Behappyyar. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Behappyyar|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block.
- I'm sure that you know that you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
- The Economic Times. and The Times of India need to be used with some caution. Your references include press releases, input from Bhatia, "sources" and "two persons familiar with the development said" How can these be independent third-party sources?
- You must not accuse a company of bad behaviour if you don't source the text, that leaves us open to defamation claims. And the alleged bad behaviour is described so vaguely as to be meaningless.
- The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
- significant coverage in
- independent,
- multiple,
- reliable,
- secondary sources.
- Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
- It's all about what the company sells, little about the company itself other than its location, India. No headquarters? To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, management structure, turnover or profits, you had none of these.
- You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
- Promotional language includes known for offering smart casual apparel... is recognized for its focus on contemporary designs and high-quality fabrics... to provide stylish and durable clothing for men, catering to those seeking versatile, smart-casual wear. Over time, the brand has become a notable name in the Indian fashion market... a significant retail presence across India... a growing online presence. — fact-free spam, especially as they appear to be just your opinions; the claims are unsourced except for one where the source doesn't confirm what you say.
- There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
- You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
- I didn't check.
I can't see that there is anything worth restoring, there are few real facts, just your opinions of their products
Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:17, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Jimfbleak - talk to me? First of all, i am not affiliated with the company or not working as paid editor. I am working with WikiProject: India (Requested Articles)
- Secondly, I will make sure that i will remove the promotional content and tone as well. And be careful next time. Kindly restore the article and move it to the draft. If this is not done, my profile will be affected. This one is my request.

Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID and disclose any affiliation you may have. Also, please note that AfD discussions are NOT a vote count. Aurangzeb Ahmed moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Aurangzeb Ahmed, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Contentious topics alert
[edit]Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Deletion discussion about Sajjad Ghani
[edit]Hello Behappyyar, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sajjad Ghani, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sajjad Ghani.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TheLongTone}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

reason for moving Muhammad Aqeel to Muhammad Aqeel (general)? There is only one article of a person named Muhammad Aqeel, hence no need to add "(general)". This is only done when there are multiple article on multiple people named a same name. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 14:54, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for asking. There was page name Mohammed Aqeel. I thought it will create confusion, then i move Mohammed Aqeel to Mohammed Aqeel (militant) and Muhammad Aqeel to Muhammad Aqeel (officer). Behappyyar (talk) 15:07, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Oh okay, it was necessary to do so. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 15:18, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

The article Sajjad Ibraheem has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence of WP:SIGCOV for this young cricketer.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JTtheOG (talk) 20:21, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
