Hi, I am a CVU on the German Wikipedia and I am becoming more involved into fighting X-Wiki vandalism. On dewp I am Sichter (Rollback&Review) and temporary-account-viewer. Since my intentions are to fight global vandalism, I will not use the user right locally until I have studied Help:Reverting and Wikipedia:Rollback. NDG (talk) 07:49, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Automated comment This user has 101 edits in the mainspace. — MusikBottalk 08:20, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
non-admin comment @NDG You don't seem to be very active here and don't meet the criteria. Cactus🌵spikyouch 10:59, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for your comment, I'm sorry that you don't see my contribution as a sufficient enrichment for the project, but I still wish you all the best. NDG (talk) 11:04, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
@NDG Please discuss it on the correct wiki, thanks. Cactus🌵spikyouch 11:11, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Consent! But please let an administrator decide. I explained how I restrict myself at the beginning and what my intention is despite the requirements for this application. NDG (talk) 11:15, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Not done for now. We would generally like to see at least a few hundred mainspace edits, or enough to show a solid track record of good counter-vandalism (on enwiki). Having rollback on another wiki is neat, but it doesn't affect our standards. Feel free to reapply when you meet the criteria at the top of the page. Thanks, Giraffer (talk) 11:59, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello, good day! I created an account on the English Wikipedia 21 days ago and I am an active contributor! Can you give me "Rollbackers" status? Thanks! (I love yourwiki (talk) 03:56, 11 July 2025 (UTC))
@Giraffer check on this History[2]. I respect your standards. Do you see any issues or signs of lack of experience? NDG (talk) 11:44, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I have been editing Wikipedia for the last five years and have made more than 1100 edits on the mainspace, primarily improving articles in adherence to the Manual Style. Most recently, I have encountered a lot of vandalism incidents that I have tackled through manual reverts because the edits have been made in quick succession by different users with a conflict of interest. Often, these edits are created by new users across multiple IPs, making it further difficult for an editor like me to restore the last good version of a page. I have had to request protection measures for some pages where repeated vandalism is so prevalent that entire pages are being blanked and replaced with unconstructive edits. I'm requesting rollback rights so I can streamline my counter-vandalism process more effectively. Baberoothless (talk) 10:24, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
Not done Rollback reverts all edits by one user. It will not help you deal with edits [that] have been made in quick succession by different users with a conflict of interest or edits [that] are created by new users across multiple IPs. * Pppery *it has begun... 05:56, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
