Standard cryptocurrency/blockchain notice

[edit]
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Aleksandar Trajkovski (April 26)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected and cannot be resubmitted. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reasons left by Alalch E. were: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This page is a consequence of long-term cross-wiki LTA. The title (i.e. the topic) is title-blacklisted both locally (Special:Diff/1236060562; discussion) and globally (meta:Special:Diff/27848697/27870275; discussion) as targeted by spammers (including the autobiographer and the globally locked socks), and this draft is also fundamentally spam, even though it was created by a disclosed paid editor (disclosing is a positive, but that does not automatically make the product not-spam), and somewhat cleaned up by a patrolling administrator (albeit the edit summaries are telling: rmv non-WP:RS : paid placement / advertorial and rmv non-WP:RS : user generated material / open content platform).
The page was created at the WP:GAMEd name Draft:Dr. Aleksandar (Poet) designed to circumvent the blacklist, which is a sign that the interested party is adapting their strategy and still trying to make it so that the article is published on the English Wikipedia, and probably also other language editions
Alalch E. 22:07, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • You must not participate in WP:GAME efforts. I think that you are innocent because, probably, the client told you to use the (unnatural and unlikely) title "Dr. Aleksandar (Poet)", and this was probably not your idea. However, it is still your responsibility to undertake a modicum of due diligence before attempting to satisfy a client's order so as not to become entangled with others' harmful efforts. Some clients are recognized bad actors, and actions taken on their behalf are not going to be taken well. You can be a paid editor, but you still need to exercise independent judgement. Sincerely —Alalch E. 22:16, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ekramy el Zhagat moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Ekramy el Zhagat. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because does not satisfy sourcing requirements for biographies of living persons (WP:BLP). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. —Alalch E. 22:26, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
