Nice article
- Greetings, I have been on Wikipedia for a minute (maybe a little more) and write a lot of Louisiana (and surrounding states) articles, mainly historical. Somehow, I guess I have just missed Louisiana and Texas Lumber War of 1911–1912. At my age and advanced senior senility (deprecated word but so am I), I may have just forgotten, but it was a good read. I will likely tie other articles to it and try to find some more local sources. Anyway, thanks -- Otr500 (talk) 14:44, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you kindly for the compliment. It's a fascinating era. I must admit that I did a large split from Grabow riot to make the article. The war had a lots of interesting characters and I would like to revisit it one day. Looking forward to seeing what sources you find. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
