I had a look for you. I found only one good reference, namely: Skinner, R. (2008). The Whare in the Bush: Unpacking a Twentieth Century Tradition. Fabrications : The Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, Australia and New Zealand, 18(1), 56–73. https://doi.org/10.1080/10331867.2008.10539622
It indicates that at least one of his photos is iconic:
Postwar discussion on architecture in New Zealand repeatedly cites a photograph taken in or about 1916 taken – one of many – by the photographer and railway worker Albert Percy Godber... This image has acquired a unique status in New Zealand architectural culture. It has been serially reproduced and reinterpreted by exhibition curators and writers for over fifty years.
This is referring to the picture "Hans Peter Knutzen sitting on the veranda of his home" which you can see here https://natlib.govt.nz/records/22302409

- I have added a single sentence, with a direct quote attributed to the author and the citation. I've done it that way as we'd really need some further citations to claim it has been "serially reproduced". MarcGarver (talk) 09:31, 9 January 2025 (UTC)

Theroadislong (talk) 18:07, 14 January 2025 (UTC)Draft:Old Riverside Hutterite Colony
Do you think perhaps the history in the Doncram Draft:Old Riverside Hutterite Colony should be restored, albeit without the excessive focus on the family of Laura Ingalls Wilder? It just seems like there's a lot missing from the article since you chopped up that whole segment. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 22:45, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi User:DanTD. I am not very familiar with this subject. With Doncram entries I've tried to improve what I can and out the rest on the talkpage. I'm not seeing content on Laura Ingalls? Generally speaking, I like to see entries in mainspace where they garner attention and improvements rather than in the shadows of Draftspace where they eventually get deleted. Apart from those thoughts I would say I trust your judgment and am happy to help in any way I can. I would be happy to help with other Doncram drafts if someone is willing to make a lsit. As you note my "helping" tends to be drastic pruning down to what makes sense to me and I think can fly in mainspace. Take care. Sorry if I have not addressed your question more directly. Again, I don't know much about this subject. FloridaArmy (talk) 17:12, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
- It was in this revision, and I was hoping to see more about the Hutterites and the historic relationship to this site. I'm not as familiar with the subject either, and there was some stuff I had to get rid of too. In any case there are already a lot of lists of Doncram drafts around. I want to fix them up as much as you and other editors. -------User:DanTD (talk) 19:06, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

- User:Cambalachero I'm not sure what cites you are referring to but references 3 and 4 are detailed reviews with discussions of the plot, actors, and evaluations of the movie as a whole. It is a major studio film. Your statement that the "mentions" in the references are trivial is false and troubling. I suggest you take the subject to an AfD if you really think it is not notable so you can be reeducated on our criteria for films of historic importance.
