Reading this for the first time, the hook seems to be really interesting, but it seems not to have been followed upon on the article. It says "Starting in fourth grade and continuing through college, he was often teammates with quarterback John Strycula". The article could've specified Strycula went to Royal Oak and Utah State, as well. His association with Wicks was never mentioned again in the article aside from that. @Howard the Duck: I added that Strycula went to Royal Oka / Utah State. Does that work? BeanieFan11 (talk) 00:43, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Yes, it should. Let me do a proper review by the weekend. Howard the Duck (talk) 10:54, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.
Overall: This is good-to-go. Unlike other gridiron football suggestions, the hook is understandable for the rest of the world. Hook is interesting as a player duo is interesting, more so with high school teammates in California teaming up in Utah of all places. Howard the Duck (talk) 11:03, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
