Comments
[edit]- There are a few places where you don't use the Oxford comma, but then places where you do. Recommend consistency.
- Could you identify the ones without the Oxford comma? (I'm not great at identifying them...)
- The whole "Early life" section is "He was" sentences. Can you try to revise a few to break-up the repetition.
- Changed two sentences to "Wicks...".
as a junior, and as a senior in 1967
comma isn't needed- Done.
- References:
- All references appear reliable for what is being cited
- All references are consistently formatted
- Spot checks: 2, 4, 6, 8, 13, 14, 18 all look good
Not much to say here, nice work! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:44, 10 June 2025 (UTC)

Reading this for the first time, the hook seems to be really interesting, but it seems not to have been followed upon on the article. It says "Starting in fourth grade and continuing through college, he was often teammates with quarterback John Strycula". The article could've specified Strycula went to Royal Oak and Utah State, as well. His association with Wicks was never mentioned again in the article aside from that.
