Oxymoron
[edit]perceptions are subjective not objective. The very first line is misleading and borderline propaganda. 2601:1C0:CA00:A1D0:D479:EEAE:304C:F228 (talk) 21:43, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

"Descriptions of the concept" section
[edit]The section, a list of bullet point quotes, is very unusual. I haven’t seen this style in other articles. It was created about five years ago by JerzyA.[1]
It would be better if the points made by the quoted people were spread throughout the article in their natural places.

Deletion of sources
[edit]@Zanahary: this deletion of good sources now appears to be a trend. It is a damaging act to our encyclopedia. If you don’t think something fits into the lede, simply move it to the body.
It is undoubtedly notable that some of the earliest targets of this slur were Zionists, given that today the vast majority are anti-Zionists.
The word "overwhelminingly", which you deleted as unsourced, is used by the source, as quoted directly in the footnote.

- I believe it’s quite standard to remove material from the lead section of an article if one believes its placement there constitutes undue weight. If something is present in the lead but not the body (which is a problem), it is not a requirement that an editor move the content into the body rather than just take it out of the lead. But that’s not relevant to my edit, which was just removing unduly weighted material from the lead and removing a word (I didn’t see it in the source; my mistake). ꧁Zanahary꧂ 22:35, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- On reread, the Herzl bit is already present in the body. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 22:37, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Zanahary: your comment is not addressing the topic of this thread. You have repeatedly deleted good quality sources. Your explanation appears to be that there isn't a requirement that editors don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I don’t think there needs to be a rule for common courtesy and due care. - I’ll try to ensure next time that salvageable sources for removed content are not deleted. ꧁Zanahary꧂ 23:25, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
