[edit]Qadas was merged into Kedesh, hence the maps in the infobox no longer works. I seem to recall there was an easy fix for that, but cannot remember it, hope your memory better than mine, cheers, Huldra (talk) 22:49, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Huldra: if this is about the historical map series, the solution was to add "name=Qadas" to the template. Zerotalk 02:33, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- User:Zero0000; thanks a lot for fixing it, and giving me the "solution", I suspect I will forget it for the next time I come across it, though ;/, cheers, Huldra (talk) 22:17, 1 March 2025 (UTC)

DYK for Octo Mundi Miracula
[edit]On 29 May 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Octo Mundi Miracula, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the 1572 Eight Wonders of the World (engraving pictured) is the source of the modern list of classical Seven Wonders of the World? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Octo Mundi Miracula. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Octo Mundi Miracula), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

So... What do we do with the Israel/Palestine thing?
[edit]I mean History of Palestine and History of Israel. Practically almost the same thing... I am now working on a draft on Byzantine Palestine, and it bugs me what to do when it will be ready... Have any opinion? Bolter21 (talk to me) 16:41, 25 July 2025 (UTC)
- Looking back at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Israel Palestine Collaboration/Archive 9#h-Find a way to solve the issues of Israel vs. Palestine in history-2020-04-02T19:11:00.000Z it strikes me the solution is:
- Two parallel articles on the general history:
- History of the Jews and Judaism in the Land of Israel, merging in much of the content from History of Israel
- History of Palestine
- Two parallel articles on the general history:
- Then History of Israel reverts to its original post-1948 scope
- And we create navigational templates, hatnotes and lede paragraphs to explain how it all fits together.

- Should History of Palestine also be split from History of the State of Palestine also? Say, up to the end of the Ottoman Period? I would say Ottoman period instead of end of the Mandate, because I believe the Mandatory period is too packed with recorded events that it should have its own article. Generally speaking, I think the History of Palestine article should be a general framework, with each section having a main article (which is what I am trying to establish in User:Bolter21/sandbox. - I agree with all of this. Onceinawhile (talk) 13:35, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
