Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Victoria's Secret Angels
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Category:Victoria's Secret Angels requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_July_8#Category:Victoria's_Secret_Angels. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --woodensuperman 15:21, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
Women in Green's May 2025 edit-a-thon
[edit]
Hello Trillfendi:
WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Editathon event in May 2025!
Running from May 1 to 31, 2025, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) editathon event – Wildcard Edition! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to any and all women and women's works during the event period. Want to improve an article about a women's rights activist? Go for it. An Olympian gold medallist? Absolutely. A famous painting by a woman? Yes! GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to receive a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.
We hope to see you there!

Arabelle Raphael
[edit]WP:ABOUTSELF sources (such as Twitter) should not be relied upon for important claims such as the subject's nationality. The lead sentence should mention the country where the subject is currently a permanent resident, and should not mention previous nationalities nor the country of birth unless relevant to the subject's notability. Are there independent, reliable sources describing Raphael's nationality as French instead of American? —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 03:22, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
- Meanwhile I never once mentioned nor sourced Twitter. How many fucking times do I have to say French is not her previous nationality! It's her nationality! Period. The sources I gave clearly describe her as a French person who MOVED to America. Not American! What is so hard? It's you who is presuming her nationality despite clear evidence already sourced.
- Being a permanent resident in America DOES NOT make someone American. So now the 13 million permanent residents of this country are now citizens because you said so? Trillfendi (talk) 14:10, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
- I didn't say anything about citizenship, which is not the same as nationality or permanent residency. In any case, I've started a discussion at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Arabelle Raphael to resolve the issue. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 01:17, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
