Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Carla van de Puttelaar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages New York and Nudes. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your biographies

[edit]

Hi there, Ruinedruins, and thank you for creating some 20 informative biographies of art historians and curators over the past couple of months. I see that many of them are about women. If you intend to continue along these lines, you might like to join WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to improve the coverage of women on the English Wikipedia. You can sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 07:00, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ipiggot, Thank you for your message and words of encouragement. I do plan to contribute more biographies of women historians and curators. Thanks for the tip about this project. I’ll happily sign up. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia over the years. Happy editing to you too. Ruinedruins (talk) 07:03, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for signing up and welcome to the project. I've taken the liberty of adding the Women in Red template to your user page. In connection with future biographies you might find it useful to look at the guidance in our Primer. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 14:57, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ruinedruins. Thank you for your work on Jenny Reynaerts. Another editor, Bastun, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Nice work on your new article. It would benefit from being added to appropriate Wikiprojects, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography, which will attract more editors to help improve the article.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

  • Who are the most overlooked and interesting Women in Red? We've no idea,
but we're putting together our list of the 100 most interesting ex-Women in Red.
We are creating the list to celebrate 10 years of Women in Red and we hope to present it at Wikimania.
We are ignoring the obvious, so do you have a name or subject we should consider?
Can you suggest a DYK style hook?
If you are shy about editing that page, you are welcome to add ideas and comments on the talk page.
