Today, I visited the page and found that you are in the top of the list with over 9،000 articles! I initially thought that you have created so many pages and you aren't autopatrolled yet. But looking at the stats I can conclude that most of the pages that are highlighted as mainspace articles are actually redirects nominated at RfD (that's a high number!). Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Unfortunately though your redirects' fate would be mass-deletion as far as it goes. Probably the same with the list of users with the most articles created (haven't checked that though) but thanks again for your contributions. ToadetteEdit (talk) 05:15, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hi ToadetteEdit! Thanks for reaching out. On the list of users with the most articles created, I believe I'm in the top few thousand editors, since I have a large number of active articles unrelated to redirects. The RfD nomination came as a shock to me, although I didn't do it to get my numbers up, but instead to contribute to Wikipedia to the best of my ability. What can I do to get to autopatrol privileges? I would love to continue to expand into the community and contribute, and continue to get better after ten years on Wikipedia. - That is a tricky question. The standard for autopatrolled is 25 clean articles. But your recent article creations should comply with the policies, e.g., WP:V, WP:NPOV, WP:Copyrights etc, and guidelines e.g. WP:N and others. It should rather preferably be the type of article as described at Wp:The perfect article. Although WP:GAs are better. That said, if a patroller finds you creating clean articles consistently, they can nominate you for autopatrol at WP:PERM/A. You can also request yourself, although IMO, this is a bit discouraged unless you have created hundreds of pages. ToadetteEdit (talk) 05:40, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the advice, ToadetteEdit. I have been credited by Wikipedia with more than 300 articles, but I only believe that I really deserve credit for 109 of those. (This excludes all redirects, and all of these are listed on my page.) Appreciate your help, hope I'll meet the cut someday, and I would love to help you out with any of your own projects in any way that I can! PickleG13 (talk) 05:44, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, PickleG13,
- I just thought I'd let you know that ToadetteEdit has been community banned from working on this project. I don't think they gave you any bad advice. But just encourage you that if you are interested in being auto-patrolled, just apply for this permission. If there are issues, then the admin reviewing cases will let you know. But you won't know until you try. Good luck. Liz Read! Talk! 07:20, 5 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, Liz! Your encouragement gave me the push I needed to try. Please never hesitate to reach out if you need help with any projects or pages. PickleG13 (talk) 20:28, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

Script recommendation
[edit]I have worked on adding categories to your redirects. Some I have not touched as maybe you know more about the subject matter and how to categorize them. I recommend this script to assist you: User:Eejit43/scripts/redirect-helper. Best wishes! Red Director (talk) 22:42, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
Women in Red
[edit]Hi there, PickleG13, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to have such an experienced editor as a member of our project. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 15:11, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, Ipigott! I'm looking forward to helping the project. I've experienced problems in the past with creating pages for both living and deceased women on Wikipedia, even ones where notability seems entirely clear, so I will certainly reach out if I need any help. Autopatrolled granted
[edit]
Hi PickleG13, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! voorts (talk/contributions) 22:13, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
