Please review page Biriyani
[edit]Please review and accept the roll back to earlier version on page Biriyani as it was edited with unwanted content. I reverted that page to an earlier version. Please review and accpt it. Thanks 152.59.241.254 (talk) 05:27, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
- Your changes were removed, because previous versions already clearly stated about other varieties. Myrealnamm's Alternate Account (talk) 12:41, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
Discussion on the Statement: "Zionists wanted to create a Jewish state in Palestine with as much land, as many Jews, and as few Palestinian Arabs as possible"
[edit]My comment was reverted and you asked me not edit the talk page. However when requesting an edit I was asked to edit the talk page to establish consensus.
The page and warning with regard to contentious topics states that comments in the talk section can be made and edits can be made. Please revert your change or point me to the process of establishing consensus outside the scope of the talk page as well as documentation restricting any new talk changes from being made.

[edit]I am attempting to make a large update to a page using ChatGPT for ease. I have checked the uploaded text multiple times for issues and cannot find any. Please allow me up update the page. Cstull98 (talk) 21:45, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Cstull98 the problem with ChatGPT is that the tone it uses is not suitable for encyclopedias, for example
"became known for its pioneering role in the steel and natural gas industries."
, or"Leechburg became a hub of innovation and heavy industry."
. The problem with the first sentence is WP:NPOV, and the second one contains is pretty much "useless", the average reader doesn't need to know that it is "a hub of innovation and heavy industry". Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 21:59, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

Draft/PrayforSleep
[edit]Hello - thank you for the feedback and direction on how to improve the page. I believe I added items that meet the criteria for reliable, independent, and verifiable sources and included a reference list. Based on the criteria that I read, believe the new links qualify. I did resubmit after making the changes and was rejected for the same reasons. I have listed two national references and multiple local links from independent mainstream news stations, including NPR. Could you help me understand why these don't qualify? - Thank you. Corbykissler (talk) 14:48, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Corbykissler see WP:BAND. It can't only pass mentions from reliable sources, it needs to include an indepth coverage of the topic, Pray for Sleep. Also, if you read WP:CITE it tells you how to add WP:INLINE citations to your draft (if you click here you can use the Cite button while editing to make inline citations). Let me know for further questions. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 23:41, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
Edits to Third Crusade
[edit]I am trying to add context and understanding by highlighting the historical nature of the land at issue. The region being fought over is directly related to the story which asserts its significance, the story of Abraham. N.HqWV3M7cWcv6 (talk) 15:40, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
- @N.HqWV3M7cWcv6 Oops, sorry! I thought the change of Palestine --> Land of Israel was a change of "Palestine to Israel" which is usually vandalism. Taking a closer look, it wasn't. My apologies! I will restore your changes. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 15:45, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi mentor!
Can I ask you a question? My boyfriend is a French track cyclist that had won many championships, both national, European and a word Championship in track cycling. But for some reason, only 1 of them is mentioned in the article about him on Wikipedia.
I actually tried to insert relevant information but without an account, I even linked the competitions he won (so they are 100% veritable and you can see his name), but someone went in and reverted mu changes :(
Can you help me? Thank you so much in advance! --AnjaMa999 (talk) 15:06, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- @AnjaMa999 Having your own edits reverted can always be frustrating. Try this:
- Log out, come back here, refresh, then go to Special:MyTalk (it should redirect you to your talk page of the IP address you used to edit)
- Did someone leave a note regarding your edit? Usually the person who reverted your edit would leave you a note about why your edit was reverted
- If it was removed because there was no source, see WP:CITE on how to add a source, and try adding your edit again with reliable sources
- Try that and let me know if you have any more questions. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 15:10, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi Myrealnamm,
How do I remove a "clarification needed" citation after inserting the required information? --Jensenjan (talk) 14:02, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Jensenjan Look for the "clarify", "what" or whatever and wrapped in {{}}s and remove it. Or, if you are using the Visual Editor (what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor), look for the "clarification needed", click it, and hit backspace. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 20:30, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Myrealnamm,
- Yes, that worked. Thank you so much. Jensenjan (talk) 18:32, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

Edits to Dietrich Stephan
[edit]Hello - I am Dietrich, and was revising my content as much of it was inaccurate, incorrect, and outdated. Is there a way you might please restore it? Thank you!
2600:4041:DE:C000:AD6C:AD96:FCB4:B1E4 (talk) 21:25, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hello Dietrich, thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Unfortunately I reverted your edit because it does not follow a neutral, encyclopedic tone suitable for an encyclopedia. That was the main reason it was reverted. If there is outdated information, please do fix it, but content that is not in a neutral are removed.
- Also, you will also need to disclose your Conflict of Interest with the subject - you. See WP:DISCLOSE but ignore the step on placing it on your userpage, don't do that, because you did not register for an account.
- Let me know if you have any more questions. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 21:29, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
thanks for your message. I'm trying to add someone to the list but having trouble doing it. Johnmazik (talk) 21:20, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Johnmazik to add a person you did it correctly but you just didn't cite a source. see WP:CITE and the notifications on your user talk page. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 21:43, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
Question from Cori.hubbard1979 (03:08, 3 May 2025)
[edit]How do I set up my page? --Cori.hubbard1979 (talk) 03:08, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Cori.hubbard1979 Hey there, welcome to Wikipedia. You can go to your own userpage where you can add a bit about yourself. However, if you were to write an autobiography, you could read more about autobiographies and Wikipedia at WP:AUTOBIO. When you are ready, you can proceed to WP:WIZARD, the article wizard. Happy editing! Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 14:17, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
Question from EchoSage42 (20:48, 3 May 2025)
[edit]Why cant i add my picture when im creating an article? its my own picture. --EchoSage42 (talk) 20:48, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
- @EchoSage42 It seems like you have already added a picture to your draft article. However, most people don't get a picture unless they meet WP:NPERSON, so unfortunately I've tagged your picture for deletion for now. Once your draft article is accepted, by fixing the WP:NPERSON issues, I suggest then adding a picture. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 12:05, 4 May 2025 (UTC)

Interface administrator changes
- Following an RfC, administrator elections were permanently authorized on a five-month schedule. The next election will be scheduled soon; see Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections for more information. This is an alternate process to the RfA process and does not replace the latter.
- An RfC was closed with consensus to allow editors to opt-out of seeing "sticky decorative elements". Such elements should now be wrapped in {{sticky decoration wrapper}}. Editors who wish to opt out can follow the instructions at WP:STICKYDECO.
- An RfC has resulted in a broad prohibition on the use of AI-generated images in articles. A few common-sense exceptions are recognized.
- A New Pages Patrol backlog drive is happening in May 2025 to reduce the backlog of articles in the new pages feed. Sign up here to participate!
Question from GALMJ on Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair (00:47, 9 May 2025)
[edit]Hi! I'm writing in reference to a possible edit in the pop culture section of "I dream of Jeannie with the light brown hair" I have never tried to edit a page. I have finally just created an account but after I tried to read the tutorial with all its technical jargon an old movie buff like myself finds the task daunting! I am watching a movie and I don't find any reference to the song in the popular culture section... I also worry that I have just missed it. The movie is "Barbary Coast" 1935 and at 10:26 the sailors can be heard singing it in the background and the nonlyrical tune/melody is played throughout the entire movie (even though Miriam Hopkins seems to be of platinum blonde hair) I'm sorry I don't have the nerve to try to make an edit as the prospect is extremely daunting especially after trying to figure out the tutorial. I thank you for any help with possibly creating an edit in my stead if/as warranted Sincerely, MJ --GALMJ (talk) 00:47, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- @GALMJ Hello, and thank you for your interest in contributing to Wikipedia. I understand that the "so-easy-and-so-helpful" tutorial can be a stinger.
- The pop culture section in the article (Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair#In popular culture) is already quite messed up. To add content, use the "Edit" button. I suggest using the visual editor (see WP:VE) which is a really easier way to add content.
- After you add your content, add a WP:REFERENCE to support. Finding sources is crucial to support the content. Then, once you found a reference/source, click the Cite button in the visual editor. Typically IMDb is considered as an unreliable source, so try finding other websites.
- I'm in a rush. If you have any more questions for me then please ask. Thanks! Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 20:33, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Myrealnamm,
- Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to find a source or a reference to verify what I heard sailors singing in a movie.
- I sincerely thank you for your rapid response and assistance all the same!
- With appreciation,
- MJ 2601:84:C400:580:C8C7:B0ED:65E:5CC1 (talk) 20:58, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- That's ok. You can give me how you would want the sentence to be added and I can add it for you, and I can also help you find a source. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 21:03, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
Ash Priors does not have a Parish Council It has a Parish Meeting (a gathering) called Ash Priors Meeting (APM) The Chairman of this meeting with no committee can command a planning meeting or any other meeting. Apparently APM does not have a 'proper officer' from Somerset County Council over seeing It does not have a Parish Clerk but has a secretary for contact purposes --Baynam (talk) 14:23, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Baynam Hello, thank you for contributing. Could you specify the article and provide reliable source (see WP:RS) that support your claim? Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 14:50, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
Regent International Center
[edit]Hello, if you could give your advice about this Draft:Regent International Center, to correct my mistakes, and then move it again in the main space if appropriate. It would be great. Thank you. Damouns (talk) 09:39, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Damouns It's looks great. I would say, a few more (1 or 2) sources (see WP:CITE, you have already added some, which is great) would help establish its notability. I see that there is a chinese version of this article at zh:新世界丽晶国际中心 where you could google translate and extract some information from and put it onto your draft.
- I have added the draft template for you, where once you think it's complete you can submit it or move it back yourself. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 22:53, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

Question from Ryan 1243 on USS Jarvis (DD-393) (21:02, 31 May 2025)
[edit]Hi, My great grandfather was aboard The USS Jarvis at the time of its sinking and survived by floating in an oil barrel. I have plenty of evidence of this such as I wouldn’t be alive and newspaper articles. And was wondering how do I get this changed correctly. --Ryan 1243 (talk) 21:02, 31 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hello @Ryan 1243 and welcome to Wikipedia!
- Wikipedia will only take evidence that is reliable (see WP:RS), these could be newspapers, websites, etc. See Help:Editing on how to edit and add citations. Myrealnamm's Alternate Account (talk) 12:51, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

Your name on infobox
[edit]Hi, why does Template:User vandalism information seem to have your signature on it? Cheers, GoldRomean (talk) 23:30, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
- @GoldRomean For a long time the bot was down but is now replaced by a new bot (see Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/DeadbeefBot 4), before the new bot was active User:Patient Zero and I manually updated User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon. That is probably why you see my signature there. Myrealnamm's Alternate Account (talk) 13:28, 5 June 2025 (UTC)
