I am actually that source
I promoted those body count shows before lalapalooza and discovered Crossfade thru the taxi music service.
Is that ok? HOTROD213LA (talk) 19:25, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, HOTROD213LA,
All content has to be verified through reliable, secondary sources. Your opinions, viewpoints or memories are not reliable sources and unsourced claims can be removed from articles. If you have questions about correct sourcing or references, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:52, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

the info I added to the echo park page is all true though. Charlie Chaplins studio is now a public storage.... the street with the cat is logan street elementary and the LAPD has two divisions that service the area.. What did I do wrong? HOTROD213LA (talk) 19:05, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You can't add "stuff you know" to Wikipedia (even if it's true). Everything needs a source. Plus, that this place is now a public storage isn't really encyclopedic anyway. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:54, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
there is a plaque inside the public storage honoring the fact that it sits on the land where those studios used to exist. if I go take a picture of that- is that attribution enough?
If I get Logan street elementary principal to let me in the school and take a picture of the cat.. would that work?
And if you call the LAPD they will tell you that the LAPD NE division coves all calls in Echo Park north of sunset blvd- as that is the dividing line between Rampart and NE... Ramparts gets all crime south of sunset NE all calls north of Sunset.
Im trying my best to get things right. Thanks for the help. HOTROD213LA (talk) 20:09, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please see Help:Referencing for beginners. That will help you understand referencing on Wikipedia. Good luck! Magnolia677 (talk) 22:56, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much... Can I ask you a question? If not- just ignore me. Parts of the neighborhood in reference are policed by two different districts of the LAPD.... how do I have a reference for that?
Go to the LAPD service area map and attach a photo?
And I know the famous cat mentioned in the article belonged to LOGAN STREET ELEMENTARY school.... not A SCHOOL IN THE AREA........ how do I reference such things?
I appreciate your help either way... I want very much to be a positive contributor to the community but am befuddled by how to reference those things.
And Charlie Chaplins former studio IS a Public storage.... would a picture of the plaque honoring the former studio that is on the premises be enough of a reference to make that change.

I appreciate the info... but I have the gold records for Body Count- and was interview for their recent book. I also have the magazine with the ad with guns that I mentioned.
and have witnesses and articles describing me as the manager of Crossfade- who found the band at Taxi.
How do I get those changes approved
Will a newsletter from Taxi's archives suffice?
And why remove the info about the producer Randy Staub? That is all factual and I tried to add his discogs link even
Thanks for the help... .as I would like to know who crafted the original Crossfade entry so I could talk to them. There is proof beyond any questioning that what I posted was factually accurate.
Can I get a different wikkipedia editor to add that info? HOTROD213LA (talk) 20:18, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
