Atalaku (film) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Atalaku (film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BOVINEBOY2008 14:48, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
- Please note that I reverted your move of the draft to Draft:Atalaku (documentary). The standard naming convention per WP:NCF is to use film. We do not need to use the genre of film as a disambiguator here. BOVINEBOY2008 14:15, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Atalaku-official-poster.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Atalaku-official-poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Johnj1995 (talk) 02:55, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Nomination of Acting International for deletion
[edit]
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Acting International until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.Junbeesh (talk) 08:08, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- Keep – Acting International has operated since 1980 and is a long-standing bilingual drama school in Paris with verifiable alumni, including internationally notable actors such as Julie Gayet, Michelle Yeoh, Daniel Craig, Keira Knightley, and Milla Jovovich. These individuals are reliably sourced via IMDb and widely covered elsewhere. The school is cited across independent actor biographies and agency listings. While broader secondary coverage is currently limited, the institution meets WP:ORG for its longstanding operation, influence on notable individuals, and verifiable contributions to the performing arts. Improvements have been made to ensure neutral tone and accuracy, including clarifying that some award mentions (e.g., New York Movie Awards) are part of the indie/online circuit.

File permission problem with File:Denis Ostier 2025.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Denis Ostier 2025.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 13:50, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. The file in question was taken from the official website [https://exodusfilm.co.uk/cast], where it is clearly stated at the bottom of the page that all content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
- This fulfills the permission requirement as per Wikimedia Commons guidelines. The license statement is publicly available and verifiable. I’ve also added this clarification to the file description page.
- If you still believe further action is required, I am happy to assist. Enjoyman (talk) 15:34, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- The problem was that you provided a direct link to the image file which just shows the image with no license statement. What you need to do is to use the page you just provided as the source in the information template on the file description. That way, anybody reviewing the file can see where the file was taken from along with the license statement that shows it is a freely licensed image. If you are still unsure about what to do, let me know and I will fix it up. -- Whpq (talk) 16:18, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your clarification. I actually included the direct image link just to provide additional visual reference, but I now realize it was unnecessary and potentially confusing in terms of licensing. I've removed it accordingly.
- I appreciate your guidance on using the actual page that displays the image alongside the license statement.
- Thanks again for your support and vigilance! Enjoyman (talk) 16:35, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
