DYK hook
[edit]The first hook in Template:Did you know/Queue/3 was heavily edited since it was added to prep. The current version says "that an absent competitor was running in front of her" which loses all information about who this was. Who "Femke Bol" is would perhaps not be clear too many readers anyways, but perhaps it could be changed to "that the absent world record holder was running in front of her"? This is supported by source #4 in the article. I was the DYK nominator. Could you look into this? – Editør (talk) 21:58, 26 May 2025 (UTC)

Draft Removal
[edit]Hi, AirshipJungleman29, thank you for your notices and for considering improvements to the article Draft:Major projects in Tunisia. I appreciate your feedback and have already edited the page, adding reliable sources and making necessary updates.
I believe the article is now ready to be moved out of draft space and published. Could you please review the latest version when you have a moment? If everything looks good, I would be grateful if you could help remove it from draft space.
Thanks again for your support and collaboration! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elly mino2 (talk • contribs) 12:37, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
- I see you unilaterally copy-pasted the draft back into mainspace without actually addressing the issues Elly mino2. I have thus opened a deletion nomination. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 17:03, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- I have updated the article’s title to better reflect its content. I hope you understand, and I kindly ask you to remove the page from the delete list. Thank you. Elly mino2 (talk) 20:45, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Again Elly mino2, you have made superficial changes that make zero difference. I don't believe you understand the issues under consideration at all. If English is not your native language, have you considered contributing to your native language's Wikipedia? ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 21:01, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

DYKTRIM
[edit]Hello! I noticed your trim here of a combo DYK I nominated. Would you reword to add back in the interesting part, that it is the team's record? Otherwise, the way the hook is now written, it appears completely arbitrary and uninteresting. Adding in "team record 23-point" or something similar would be a short, yet valuable addition. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:19, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

Question from Archfusionpro
[edit]Hi, I’m reaching out for guidance on edits I’d like to propose for the Rebecca B. Alston Wikipedia article. Below is a summary of what I’ve compiled and what I’m hoping to accomplish:
1. Reintroduce a removed biographical sentence that states: “She continued her studies as a post graduate student at New York University and attended the professional program modules of Harvard Graduate School of Design over several years.” This information is currently supported by two published biographies from reputable institutions (Octavia Art Gallery and the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art), which are already cited in the article. While not independent of the subject, I believe they are suitable under WP:SPS and WP:ABOUTSELF, especially since the material is non-controversial.
2. Clarify that I have official Harvard GSD course records (1996–1999) that back up this information. I understand they cannot be cited directly due to WP:OR, so I’m only referencing them to reinforce the reliability of the gallery bios.
3. Request help resolving or removing the COI tag on the article. I’ve disclosed that I’m not being paid and have no formal connection to the subject, but I’ve been compiling reliable sources to improve the article in good faith. I’m also willing to avoid direct edits and work through Talk if needed.
4. Seek assistance adding inline citations to the subject’s exhibition history. I’ve collected dozens of citations from newspapers, museum websites, and press releases (e.g., a retrospective at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art), and want to improve the article’s sourcing and verifiability.
Can you review my Talk page proposal before I post it (if I have permission to share it)? Am I correctly handling the COI concern under Wikipedia policy? Is there a better way to phrase or present this material to avoid issues?
Thank you for your time and support! --Archfusionpro (talk) 19:56, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
Evidence phase of Indian military history extended by three days
[edit]You are receiving this message because you are on the update list for Indian military history. Due to an influx of evidence submissions within 48 hours of the evidence phase closing, which may not allow sufficient time for others to provide supplementary/contextual evidence, the drafters are extending the evidence phase by three days, and will now close at 23:59, 8 June 2025 (UTC). The deadlines for the workshop and proposed decision phases will also be extended by three days to account for this additional time.

han chinese biased revisionist editors
[edit]There is han chinese revisionist editing happening throughout wikipedia, that reflects the historical point of view of communist ccp chinese toward Asian neighbors and their own ethnic minorities in a very insulting and bigoted way. It is also factually inaccurate and biased. How can we address these issues in content in wikipedia in a way that is acceptable to wikipedia? AstanHun (talk) 18:51, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
- So you think the editor who's given you multiple final warnings on your own user talk page over your egregious conduct is on your side, just because they have a particular editing interest in the Mongols? Remsense 🌈 论 18:53, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
Edgar Matobato on DYK
[edit]Hi, @AirshipJungleman29! Thanks for bringing Edgar Matobato over to prep queue 5! I was re-reading the nomination recently and I feel like ALT1 would be a better choice for this article than ALT0 after all. The reviewer seems to also be good with ALT1 back in the original review. Would it be possible to go with the ALT1 hook instead? Chlod (say hi!) 20:33, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
Hi, you have listed this for TFA at pending for August. I have tentatively reserved a date for it, but if you would still like it be considered you will need to nominate it at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests, which is now open. Cheers. Gog the Mild (talk) 12:35, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: User:Cplover13/Sample page
[edit]Hello AirshipJungleman29. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Cplover13/Sample page, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not blatantly vandalism or a hoax. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:38, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
