Information icon Hello, I'm Fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Leveson Inquiry. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 10:03, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have reverted your edit here for the same reason. Please read Wikipedia's policy on external links, specifically this section: WP:NOELBODY. Thank you. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 10:13, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Leveson Inquiry. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. TheM1sty (talk) 10:59, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I am simply trying to make people aware there is a public facility that allows people to search the entire enquiry.
It was actually commissioned by Lord Leveson himself. I am not attempting to vandalise but inform. DBlez (talk) 11:03, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Rugby School, you may be blocked from editing. TheM1sty (talk) 11:00, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Rugby School has a public facing archive which is fascinating and I am simply again making people aware - there is no cost, no catch, and no advertising. Many top schools have these. Some prefer to keep them private. Again this is simply free and accurate information which I thought was the essence of WiKiPedia. DBlez (talk) 11:06, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What on earth is a Sandbox? DBlez (talk) 11:07, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @DBlez, I'd like to apologize, while the edits you're making appear to be in good faith and aren't vandalism, they are against our policy on external links, particularly the section about not adding external links to an article's body, which you can see at WP:NOELBODY. I think those links may be a decent addition, but in their own dedicated external links section, you can read more about how to add such a section at WP:ELCITE and MOS:LAYOUTEL.
The sandbox is a portion of your user space you can use to experiment with editing and layouts, more information is available at H:SANDBOX. Thank you for helping to build an encyclopedia! fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 11:48, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Since you're a new editor I'd also like to direct you to our welcome guide, especially the introduction, which can walk you step by step through various policies and ways you can contribute. If you have any questions feel free to message me on my talk page here, or visit the Teahouse where many experienced editors are around to answer any questions you may have. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 11:52, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, appreciate your help. I am a 'newby' but I am also a bit of a 'fact hound' and I don't simply believe everything I read or hear. I will look over the links carefully. Thanks again, no apology necessary. 2.103.159.123 (talk) 11:57, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
