Very probably notable. Here's what you have to do to get the draft accepted: find evidence of significant coverage of her books, and provide that as footnotes or "further reading" in this article. Independent, professional book reviews count - PW, Kirkus, NYT, etc. Please also provide citations for any personal info (eg birthdate) or remove it. Not required, but will make the reviewer happy: remove all external links from the body of the article. If they're there to verify the content, turn them into footnotes. If they're there for the sake of hyperlinking (eg to the publisher's website) and don't verify any of the content, simply remove them.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
