Usage
[edit]This template presents the seat standings of each recognized party or group in both the House of Commons and Senate during the 45th Canadian Parliament.
It reflects:
- The results of the 2025 Canadian federal election (held April 28, 2025)
- The current seat distribution in the House of Commons
- The unchanged Senate composition carried over from the end of the 44th Parliament
Structure

- Party/group affiliation with official colours
- Separate columns for the House and Senate
- For each chamber:
- Election results (House only)
- Current seat distribution
- Visual change markers:

Editing Instructions
[edit]- Update seat totals as changes occur (e.g., by-elections, Senate appointments, party switches).
- Do not modify election result columns unless a correction is necessary.
- House total seats are 343 for the 45th Parliament.
- Senate remains fixed at 105 seats unless officially expanded.
- Use
{{formatnum}}if adding large numbers for formatting clarity.
