Yadav are a middle class caste

In Nepal, the Yadav community is often regarded as a middle caste within the traditional social hierarchy. Historically, they have been associated with occupations such as animal husbandry and agriculture, which are typically linked to the Vaishya varna—the third tier in the four-fold Varna system of Hinduism.
