– Looking at the pageview analysis for the three items related to this subject I think that it's pretty clear that the video game is no longer the PTOPIC. I don't know if the present ratios suggest that the TV series are the primary topic, so I suggest that the disambiguation page be instead placed at the basename. While the peaks in the data likely correspond with large announcements for the show, the sustained preference for the show between June 2023 and February 2025 show that in the lulls between media coverage, the video game likely isn't the main topic of interest. Regarding your second sentence: I agree, and that's what I initially (mistakenly) thought Bobby Cohn was suggesting. If we move, it should go to the franchise page. Popcornfud (talk) 01:22, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support 1st, oppose 2nd The franchise page should be moved to primary instead, as if the video game isn't primary topic, the franchise certainly is. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 23:51, 26 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support The franchise and game are different and their pages should be distinguished as so. Franchise should be titled "the last of us" and the game should be titled "the last of us (video game)" to be completely clear. Everythingwii (talk) 21:04, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see. I was meaning to say that I supported the first proposal (moving "the last of us" to "the last of us (video game") because it does distinguish the two articles a bit better. But now, I realize that's not what the user who initially proposed the change was going for. I think all the articles should be titled corresponding to what they are (video game, TV series, franchise) much like how the Resident Evil series is set up. That's it.
