Name

[edit]

What's with the attempts to treat "Ted" like its a nickname or colloquialism. Its just a diminutive. Look at the first sentences of Chris Brown, Tom Hanks, Tim Walz and Walt Disney. Are we going to mention what they are colloquially known as? David J Johnson, explain please. LittleJerry (talk) 01:23, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, I'm not too concerned. It was only that most folk tend to say "Ted" Bundy. Regards, David, David J Johnson (talk) 09:35, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please refer to MOS:HYPOCORISM. Ted is a very common diminutive of Theodore, and therefore per the MOS what you did was incorrect. Please keep this in mind for other articles in the future. 2600:100A:B1CE:A4B7:0:0:55DA:9A01 (talk) 19:30, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Weird redirect

[edit]

Why does the First Arrest section direct users to a separate page on a Superman documentary? RIArchivist (talk) 02:39, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've just removed it. Thanks for pointing that out. UrielAcosta (talk) 03:42, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

mother and bastardy

[edit]

The article's claims don't make sense. It claims that for the first three years of his life, he was raised by his grandparents, and then his mother got him and moved away and married. She then raised him, along with her husband. So why does the article claim that he grew up thinking his grandparents were his parents? He wouldn't even remember his infancy and toddler years. His mother raised him. How could he have not known she was his mother? It makes no sense that she was raising him and he thought she was his sister. 2600:1700:BC01:9B0:B0A5:A009:BDCA:A436 (talk) 14:53, 26 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
