Channel 4 Alternative Christmas Message

[edit]

I see that a link to the message itself, on YouTube, has been added as a reference. But that seems to be a WP:PRIMARY source for this claim. Would we not want some kind of secondary source(s) that would establish the notability of the broadcast? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 09:37, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There is a Variety reference at the end of the paragraph for the direct quote. newsjunkie (talk) 09:43, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There is quite a lot of coverage, including Jewish News, Radio Times, Lad Bible etc. etc. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:17, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Transphobia?

[edit]

Given that Fry was recently cancelled on Facebook (23rd April 2025), specifically on the Have a Gay Day page, for reputedly transphobic remarks and attitudes, should this area be researched and investigated for future inclusion in his Wiki article? I must confess to being shocked and surprised, not to mention disappointed, and hold out the fervent wish to discover his remarks have been taken out of context. I think the more pertinent questions are a) whether you want to research it, and b) if so, can you find coverage of the matter in reliable sources? DonIago (talk) 02:56, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Here's a piece in The Telegraph and one in PinkNews, but both from 2024. Martinevans123 (talk) 08:49, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
