Release Dates?

[edit]

I have not seen any information regarding the TV series of Robo Force being released on August 7, 2024. We are passed that date and still, I haven’t seen any information in regards to the show being released. 2600:1004:B038:B0B0:19BD:C8C2:B04B:AEA5 (talk) 20:28, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disney never owned the chararacters from Moo Mesa or Biker Mice from Mars

[edit]

The characters from Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa always belonged to R.E. Bee, Inc., which belonged to Ryan Brown. Hasbro made toys for the characters, but never owned the property outright. The copyright to the show itself (but not the characters featured in it) first belonged to Greengrass Productions (which was part of ABC), then when ABC/Disney sold off their share of DIC Entertainment in 2001, DIC was given the rights to the Moo Mesa show and a few other properties (like the series Bump in the Night). DIC's library (including the Moo Mesa series) now belongs to WildBrain.

Biker Mice from Mars is a similar case. Disney owns the original 1990s Biker Mice cartoon now after acquiring the Marvel Productions/New World Animation library as part of their buyout of Fox Family Properties around 2001, but they do not own the characters, or the 2006 revival series. The Biker Mice characters belonged to Brentwood Television Funnies (which I assume was owned by Biker Mice creator Rick Ungar, but I'm not sure) until they were sold to Nacelle.
