Ryan Pilkington
[edit]Ryan Pilkington is mentioned in the cast list and in the sentence "Ryan Pilkington is now a student police officer". I had not watched the series but happened to catch the final program when Pilkington appeared in the epilogue. So I was curious about who he was, and this article did not mention him. Just reporting this as a flaw in the article. It is missing the part of the plot that involved Pilkington.Periglio (talk) 00:59, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
Stephen Graham's Character is called John Corbett/John Clayton
[edit]Please do not edit Stephen Graham's character name as Balaclava Man, this is not the characters name in universe and is shorthand used to refer to multiple characters in the universe of the show. It does not refer to his character and watching the show would prove that. Articles that use that name in quotation marks to refer to him are clearly using the in-universe shorthand and should not be used as a source for this being the characters name. Editing the character name to not accurately reflect the content of the show is making it more inaccurate and should be avoided. TalkingFixer24 (talk) 15:17, 13 March 2025 (UTC)

Hello! I was pleasantly surprised to see one of my favourites listed as a GAN, so I'm going to review it. It might take a few days though. Hope you don't mind. ✦ Saltymagnolia ✦ 20:22, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Content
[edit]- In the lead, I would change
assisted by his team DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure)
toassisted by his team consisting of DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure)
, as well asthey lead an investigation into an organised crime group led by undercover officer John Corbett
tothey conduct an investigation into an organised crime group led by undercover officer John Corbett
.
- In the episode summaries, I would explain the definition of
status zero
via a note, and would link Jackie Laverty to S1.
- In production,
Gregory Piper
links to the politician, rather than the actor.
- In viewing figures, I would alter the phrase
finale episode
tofinal episode
, or simplyfinale
.
- Within the critical response subsection, the word
film
should be changed toseries
orshow
in the sentence describing the Metacritic score.- Done with each of these, just removed the term "status zero" and explained it to remove the WP:JARGON. Used a note for Laverty to avoid a WP:EASTEREGG link. Everything else was addressed as listed. TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:35, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
Sourcing
[edit]The article is sufficiently cited. Earwig's indicates no copyvio, with the similarities resulting from direct quotes, or unavoidable phrasing.

Conclusion
[edit] Everything looks good. Passing now. ✦ Saltymagnolia ✦ 14:07, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
