White Tiger

[edit]

Since both the actor and the character are dead can we put (season 1) next to the character's name since he only appears in Season 1? HiGuys69420 (talk) 01:27, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think we need to or should add these season indicators to the cast section just yet, because only the first season exists right now, so that is what would be expected. We also do not know definitively that the character won't appear somehow in season 2, and archive footage could always be used. I think it would be too early to make this call, and we can always be patient. There is no need to preemptively apply this label, especially for only one actor just because they died and their character was killed off. Trailblazer101 (talk) 06:58, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Vanessa Marianna-Fisk

[edit]

Some of the initial sources used this name, but some did not including the official production brief which just says "Vanessa Fisk". That is also what she is called, and credited as, in the series. Did we go with this name because it was used in the original series? I recently re-watched the third season and don't remember it ever being used there either. - adamstom97 (talk) 16:11, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I also recently rewatched the third season and didn't believe she ever hyphenated. At their wedding reception in the third season, I think the DJ says something to the affect of "please welcome the new Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Fisk". And yes, seeing as she's just credited as "Vanessa Fisk" here, I think we should use that. Don't know what that will mean for the Daredevil articles (main, seasons and character list), but likely that we lose the hyphen there too. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:09, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Muse

[edit]

is it worth adding Muse to the cast list now that he's been revealed to be played by Hunter Doohan? Visokor (talk) 20:32, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

He is listed at Daredevil: Born Again season 1. This article just has the main cast from the opening credits, guest stars are listed at the relevant season articles. - adamstom97 (talk) 20:42, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

White Tiger?

[edit]

Just asking, for Daredevil Born Again is it okay if I put (season 1) next to Kamar de los Reyes's character as 1) the actor's dead, and 2) the character is also dead as well. As far as we know the actor didn't film any more scenes as Hector / White Tiger after season 1 because he's dead, so the only scenes they'll use are archive footage. HiGuys69420 (talk) 16:21, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As I said at my talk page, I personally am not a fan of listing seasons in the cast list like this. We also never did this for the old Marvel Television series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the original Daredevil series. - adamstom97 (talk) 17:56, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose so... but in the 9-1-1 article Bobby has (seasons 1-8) around his name. HiGuys69420 (talk) 19:35, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That series doesn't have anything to do with this one. WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:53, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I mean u did say "you should ask at the article's talk page" on your talk page first so let's leave this be until someone else comments. HiGuys69420 (talk) 20:13, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just because other TV articles do something, that does not mean every article ought to follow suit. I agree with Adam on remaining consistent with what the Daredevil cast lists have done and have also not found these parentheses additions useful in the Cast section because it just adds an unnecessary indicator that is already covered by prose text and does not add to the character descriptions. Sometimes a lot of characters only appear in one season and noting which one would be excessive. Trailblazer101 (talk) 22:49, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This article is about season 1 of Daredevil: Born Again, it has nothing to do with a deceased actor of a character. This is not the article of the deceased actor. — YoungForever(talk) 23:07, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok so now we have a consensus. I will add an invis note explaining not to put the parantheses HiGuys69420 (talk) 23:19, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That is not necessary because no one else has been trying to insert those, as far as I am aware. Also, this article is for the series overall. If a reader is looking for who is in which particular season, that is what the season articles are for. There is no need to specify the season appearances in this parent article or to speculate about the actor's potential appearances. Trailblazer101 (talk) 23:23, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
NVM forget that HiGuys69420 (talk) 23:30, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I know it is a series article, it is a typo. No need to correct me in less than 30 minutes. Absolutely unnecessary to explain what is the series article and season article to me, I know the differences as I am a veteran TV editor. — YoungForever(talk) 23:49, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Jeez, no need to be hasty. I didn't know you didn't mean to type that. Remember, WP:Assume good faith. I don't keep tabs on every editor... Trailblazer101 (talk) 23:56, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
