PDP–Laban nominated Miraflores' son, Ibajay mayor Jose Enrique Miraflores, who won against former Kalibo mayor William Lachica (Kilusang Bagong Lipunan) and two other candidates.[1][2]

Quimpo won re-election against Jonathan Cabrera (People's Reform Party) and provincial board member Nolly Sodusta (Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma).[2]
