There is currently an ongoing RfC that contributors to this project may be interested in weighing in on, listed at Talk:Quentin Crisp#RFC - Pronoun use. This topic did receive some talk page discussion in 2022, but with no firm consensus. Proposed deletion of Dugazon family

The article Dugazon family has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged as Unreferenced for more than 13 years. No other language has a sourced article from which to translate. Could work as a dab page, but not as an article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jeffrey James

Could some member (or members) from the A&E work group take a look at Jeffrey James and assess it per WP:GNG and WP:NJOURNALIST. I'm not really seeing any sources cited that would be considered significant coverage per se, but perhaps I'm missing something. It also came up during a discussion over at c:Commons:Village pump/Copyright#gweiloasiaguy re wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_James that the subject of the article might've been editing it over the years, possibly even using multiple accounts, and may have actually created the article themselves using one of those accounts. -- 05:27, 23 July 2025 (UTC) Marchjuly (talk) 05:27, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Pacher grade change

The Michael Pacher article is currently Start-class, but I believe it deserves a C-class grade. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it meets the standards for C-class. It’s definitely “useful for casual readers” and cites more than one reliable source. 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 23:16, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

To this discussion I also bring the articles Herman Ambrosius Jan Baanders and Mandi Baard. They’re both C-class but very obviously of lower quality than the Michael Pacher article. 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 00:04, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I also looked at a few B-class articles, and I think the Justin Chin and Howie Chizek articles are arguably worse, but I’m open to suggestions.

Sorry for the continuous comments, but I’ve dug up more articles that are rated higher but are in some ways worse.

The articles on Frederick H. Dyer and Egardus are GA-class, but as you can see, they’re at least only slightly better.

I am not advocating for the grade of these articles to be lowered, nor am I arguing for the Michael Pacher article to be anything higher than C-class, but I am almost certain that the Michael Pacher article is C-class status.

Again, if you have anything to say, please comment. No rush! I would much prefer a few high-quality comments over a lot of low-quality ones. I’ll try to respond as soon as I can! 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 04:02, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
