just a little update...

[edit]

first of all, (unrelated) i managed to go to hume mrt station. one thing that i kind of learnt (and would help once a RS is found) is that it's the first scented station (there is this blue box that sprays perfume every now and then, i took a picture of it) so that would def help for DYK. and secondly, there should be an art in transit book for the DTL. it is available in woodlands regional library if i can remember correctly... managed to borrow it last year. brachy08 (chat here lol) 03:50, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I alr have pages of the DTL art book. Also, Newton station also has scents, so this isnt new. ST reporting on SBS scented stations.--ZKang123 (talk · contribs) 06:32, 3 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

On 5 May 2025, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2025 Singaporean general election, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 00:07, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I noted that you have edited the content that follow a structure similar to 2022 Serbian general election, but consistency is something that I also aimed to write since the past general elections, and other elections that happened, but times have changed. I also understand why you decide to create the Electoral boundaries changes of the 2025 Singaporean general election and the Results of the 2025 Singaporean general election articles for the sake of the space, but if there is something for improvement and something for change, I can take this suggestion, but it will be good if that could be shared to Wikipedia:WikiProject Elections and Referendums as a reference so that it will be also a model example. However, no one is perfect in terms of editing skills, so I came here to talk to discuss this, now that the elections are over and the next election will be in around 2030 or so. Thanks. Sculture65 (talk) 05:16, 6 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Sculture65: I understand that, but honestly what I plan is that the 2025 elections page is to be the model for previous election pages. I'm afraid to say that I might have to do a massive revamp at least some weeks later, once edit activity died down more. My concerns at the moment are some uses of low quality sources (like mothership and The Online Citizen). After the revamp, I might tackle the other election pages, but that's also a bit out of my scoop since I usually edit MRT articles. I hope you will also understand when I have to make some bold edits.--ZKang123 (talk · contribs) 05:37, 6 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I understand and the choice of sources is up to the editor's discretion and they also do provide news sources, although that you questioned Mothership and TOC's quality, the main choice is that providing a platform for an election article is the most important, like something that I saw in the 2024 United States presidential election, for example. I also respected the edits of yours. Sculture65 (talk) 10:12, 6 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Now that the election is over, and I had seen about lots of the edits, and while I do not get used to it, I really thought on doing those that matches the consistencies and the structure into the past elections, but I seen that your way of edits had give some changes that readers including editors like me have some unfamiliarity at first, but edits are edits and soon over time these readers will understand and get used to it. Lately, I had also improved the displaying through the use of graphs and counting contested popular vote, so that it will be a proper statistical of result and how to understand readers the definition between overall popular vote and contested vote, like the definition of electoral vote in the USA for instance. Otherwise, thank you once again for the heavy contributions for the article and try to fix things that I did for a better article, and in fact you and I shared the same mantle of editing and contributing this article, a goal in each of our minds together, and in-lieu of the SG60 celebrations. To be rather honest, when I joined Wikipedia in 2017 (one month after the Presidential election to be exact), I just patched things up from past articles to improve the quality, besides on articles of my interest (yours was on MRT articles, mine was on entertainment articles), but when it comes to this article, we do however work as a team, in the end. Again, I seen your edits, and it was good. Sculture65 (talk) 13:26, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
