Left wing is there because, his ideologies are part of Left-wing, thats what the news reports say, example here

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sri Lanka Armed Forces. Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to Sri Lanka, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
