Speedy deletion nomination of Category:List of HIV positive people
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Category:List of HIV positive people indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 20:04, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

- I am not trying to attack anyone. I wanted to suggest some additions for the List of HIV Positive people list that is already up. my suggestions were that Nisha Noor be added in the actors with HIV section on the list as well as Lisa De Leeuw be added on the pornographic acting section of the list. - Hello, Trevor Lafoe,
- Categories are used to organize articles and other pages, they aren't supposed to be used for content or lists. Please create your work in Draft space or your own User space. It is not appropriate for a category page. If you have questions about different namespaces, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:24, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Andrea Albani
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Andrea Albani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Reliable sources
[edit] Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. IMDb and Wikipedia are not reliable sources.-- Ponyobons mots 18:06, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- Given that this was previously explained to you here, I don't understand why you would go and add the content List of HIV-positive people regardless.-- Ponyobons mots 18:08, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
- There are women missing on the list.
- Andrea Albani Died of AIDS in 1994.
- Sonia Martinez died of AIDS in 1994.
- Sandra Brea died of AIDS in 2000.
- Sirpa Lane died of AIDS in 1999.
- a lot of women who died of aids are missing on the list. Trevor Lafoe (talk) 16:42, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
- In the same vein, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source for the same reason that IMDb and Wikipedia itself aren't. Please don't cite the website in articles. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 21:03, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
- What Can I cite? I have every viable info I can find but you snub them! It's like you are perfectionists! Nothing I send is good Enough, is it? Trevor Lafoe (talk) 16:13, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- The guideline on reliable sources explains in detail what sources are and are not acceptable. Beyond that, you might look to WP:RSP for a list of specific sources. Question where the information in a source comes before citing it. In particular question whether the content of a source is user-generated, as that has been the common through line of the unreliable sources you've cited. Sir Sputnik (talk) 00:28, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

List of HIV positive people
[edit]Hi,
I removed some of your entries to this list. Your sourcing was good (which is a rare thing, thank you for that)but I had to remove these entries. There are a few requirements for additions to this list. The most important one is sourcing but the second one is: it needs a corresponding wikipedia article. Red links are not allowed. Garion96 (talk) 19:44, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- I have the Right person. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Albani This is the article I am referring. She needs to be added to the list because She did die of AIDS and I have the article to prove It! Trevor Lafoe (talk) 15:18, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at List of HIV-positive people, you may be blocked from editing. Citing sources you know to be unreliable is disruptive. Continuing to do this will lead to a block. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:28, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
