Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review this draft. I understand the concern regarding notability, but I’d like to offer some context. The Chairperson of India’s Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) holds a role that is broadly equivalent to the Chairperson of the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) — a Cabinet-level position in both cases with national policy influence. All recent FERC chairpersons have Wikipedia pages (e.g., Neil Chatterjee, Richard Glick, Willie Phillips), suggesting precedent for inclusion of regulatory figures in similarly prominent positions. Dr. Pramod Deo served as CERC Chair during a crucial period of liberalization in the Indian power sector, and was previously Chair of the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission. The references cited detail multiple reforms and interviews conducted during his tenure, and I am continuing to look for additional sources that show sustained coverage. I’d be grateful for any additional guidance or suggestions on how to better establish notability for a subject in a high-level regulatory role.
