User talk:Simononwiki1
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Simononwiki1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Hello Simononwiki1. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Simononwiki1. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Simononwiki1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:42, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Timtrent,
- I added on my userpage the paid template. Moreover, it is also displayed on the talk section of the Adam Linder article.
- Finally, I tried to be more objective as possible writing the article. If there are any sentences that looks promotional, I would like to know which are them in order to correct them respecting wikipedia's rules.
- Thanks for your feedback.
- Simononwiki1 (talk) 14:28, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. It was disingenuous not to do so before because you had been told previously at User talk:GoldRomean#Question from Simononwiki1 (21:47, 1 March 2025), and paid editing in mainspace is very strongly discouraged, as is moving drafts you have been paid to write to mainspace.
- As a paid editor you are expected as part of your remuneration, to know all of the rules. You are paid to discover, learn, and understand all relevant policies and procedure. Further, you are paid to write neutral and correctly referenced prose which passes these criteria. This is an amateur project. Amateur editors do not generally feel the need to assist paid editors to receive their pay.
- You may not need any judgments, but all editors here will judge all other editors here, at their own discretion. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 14:48, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hey Simononwiki1, thought I'd jump in here and offer some advice as to the present issues with the draft. As I'm going through, I see "contributed to his nuanced understanding of traditional ballet techniques." The "nuanced" stands out to me as a WP:PEACOCK promotional word, so I open up the citation and check to see if it has been used by a reliable and independent source. I see that it is an interview (i.e. not independent, see WP:interview) and a Ctrl+F search doesn't turn up "nuanced" so that's an immediate red flag.
- I get to the "Career" section and I see more promotional wording without citations and that's pretty much as far as I'm willing to go.
- To clean up, only state dry facts about the subject and attribute praise in text to it's source and use a citation. That would be the first major reform that needs to occur with this article. It is very promotional, and that is an issue with the paid editing. Please let me know if you have further questions, I'd be happy to clarify.
- Best, Bobby Cohn (talk) 15:09, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ok I see way better now. I will try to edit it again until it get dry and neutral.
- Thanks a lot for having review the article and thanks for your time. Simononwiki1 (talk) 15:27, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
Adam Linder moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Adam Linder. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and Editing articles in main space as a WP:PAID editor is deprecated. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:44, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

- Hi Spinster300,
- What should I improve to my draft for not being flagged by WP:PYRAMID ? I read the WP:PYRAMID section but I would like to know which elements are the motive of "placement of important information first, with a decreasing importance as the article advances".
- Thanks for your help.

NeoGaze (talk) 19:31, 17 June 2025 (UTC)- Hi,
- Thanks a lot for having accepted my first Wikipedia article. This made my day. I had a question regarding the Maintenance template flag that are actually on the page. There are related at the edit I previously made for the creation of this article. But now the article is respecting wikipedia's rules and has been accepted. Can I, me as editor and creator of this article, remove them ? Or it has to be someone else ?
- Thanks a lot.
- Simononwiki1 (talk) 20:39, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
- I suppose that I can't because I respect this rule: You have been paid to edit the article or have some other conflict of interest [exceptions apply: see individual template documentation].
- Thanks a lot
- Simononwiki1 (talk) 20:45, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
- I have decided to remove the paid contribution template, as you already disclosed it in the talk page. Have a good one! NeoGaze (talk) 09:15, 18 June 2025 (UTC)
