Can you consider requesting that PseudoBot be given reviewer permissions, so it can automatically accept its edits in cases like this one? Jackmcbarn (talk) 01:09, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Hey Pseudomonous! Thank you for communicating me. But I did not make any Change in your said Page. It must be something wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.15.29 (talk) 10:59, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Looks like it was someone else using that IP address before you. Don't worry about it! Pseudomonas(talk) 17:47, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

User:PseudoBot

First of all, thank you so much for this bot! It does great work. Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I was wondering if it would be possible to expand the mandate of PseudoBot beyond simply date pages? The bot does great work, and it would be awesome if it could somehow be expanded to remove redlinks from any list of people. Thoughts? IronGargoyle (talk) 02:38, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

I'd love to, but I suggested something a bit like it and it didn't get approved. Pseudomonas(talk) 15:09, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Can you point me to that discussion? I'd like to see if I can think of any perspectives in re-arguing the case. Best, IronGargoyle (talk) 16:37, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Sure, here it is. Pseudomonas(talk) 16:48, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

April 21 update

Hi I made an update to April 21 regarding Karen Tan. I am not sure why she does not have a wiki but she is an important figure in chinese history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.57.6.177 (talk) 02:22, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

If you or someone else creates a page, then you can add a link to that page to the date page. Pseudomonas(talk) 13:29, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

We need your help testing latest huggle

Hello,

I am sending you this message because you listed yourself on meta:Huggle/Members as a beta tester. We desperately need attention of testers, because since we resolved all release blockers, we are ready to release first official version of huggle 3! Before that happens, it would be nice if you could test it so that we can make sure there are no issues with it. You can download it packaged for your operating system (see Wikipedia:Huggle/Huggle3_Beta) or you can of course build it yourself, see https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx for that. Don't forget to use always latest version, there is no auto-update message for beta versions!

Should you find any issue, please report it to wikimedia bugzilla, that is a central place for huggle bugs, where we look at them. That is i mportant, if you find a bug and won't report it, we can't fix it. Thank you for your work on this, if you have any questions, please send me a message on my talk page, I won't be looking for responses here. Thanks, Petrb (talk) 15:15, 10 April 2014 (UTC)

In reference to a majority of the psychology pages

Much of the information available is very outdated and/or has been proven to be incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.109.65.187 (talk) 20:10, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

PseudoBot revert limit?

This is probably a silly question, but I couldn't find the information in the documentation anywhere. I'm curious: is there a maximum number of times PseudoBot will revert the same user?

I don't know if this is still the case, and this was several years ago, but I once saw PseudoBot revert a user nine times. Doesn't that go against the three-revert rule? I know 3RR doesn't apply to reverting vandalism, but many edits to date pages, although inappropriate, don't really reach the level of vandalism. Or does 3RR not apply to bots? --Ixfd64 (talk) 06:25, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

I *think* that was a bug that has since been fixed. I'll keep an eye on things though. Pseudomonas(talk) 11:49, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the response. I take it that PseudoBot should no longer revert the same user more than three times? --Ixfd64 (talk) 16:16, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

New huggle 3.1 is going to be released soon

Hi Pseudomonas, we are to release a new major version of huggle, but we did receive almost no feedback from our beta testing team, which you are a part of (see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Huggle/Members). It would be of a great help if you could download it (if you have windows, all you need to do is getting http://tools.wmflabs.org/huggle/files/huggle3.1.0beta.exe and putting it to a folder where you have installed huggle) and test it. You can always get a help with making it @ #huggle connect!

Major changes:

  • Multisite support - you can now log in to unlimited number of wikis in 1 huggle session and get a huge queue of all edits made to these wikis. This is good for smaller projects which gets overlooked often.
  • Ranged diffs - you can select multiple revisions and get a huge diff that display all changes done to them.
  • Fixes of most of bug reports we had so far

In case you found a bug, please report it to bugzilla: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/buglist.cgi?product=Huggle&list_id=147663 thank you! Petrb (talk) 10:13, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Um Bongo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Congo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

July 17th

Hello, Wikipedia editors, bots, or other affiliates or possible users: I recently edited the Wikipedia page "July 17th", (Day of the year), and added a birthdate, which was subsequently deleted. "Kyle David Gobern" (AKA) "Passionate MC" is a Well-known rapper from Cranston, Rhode Island. If this was simply deleted because of the fact that he does not yet have a Wikipedia page, please let me know. If not, I would appreciate it if you would allow me to re-post the above to the "July 17th" page. -Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.20.153.211 (talk) 22:15, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

I noticed that as I was editing the November 28 page the person that I had added, Maria Antonia of Parma, the letters were not blue. There was a page about her, and I was very confused. You can find the page by going the Maria Theresa page and then clicking the Maria Amalia page, which is one of her children. Then, you can click one of her issue called, Maria Antonia of Parma, which has a page. And the date of her birth was November 28 1774. And her name, I added on the November 28 page. hi I wasn't spamming

hi my friend, I think I submit a site on Umrah page in external link section was correct n not violating any guidelines. please tell me why you deleted it. thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hukumat (talkcontribs) 22:05, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

I deleted them because your account seems to be primarily invovled with adding links, and those links are in domains registered to Hukumat Networks, Rawalpindi, which suggests a link to your username, and hence a Conflict of Interest. Pseudomonas(talk) 22:11, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

No spam

Hi, can you please help me understand why you deleted the link that I added to the Recyclebot page? I believe it doesn't violate any of the posting rules and the link contains very relevant information on the topic. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mehari79 (talkcontribs) 22:17, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
