Promotional tone concerns in Sumita Misra article

[edit]

Hello MollyWrites,

Thank you for your recent contributions to the Sumita Misra article. However, your edit introduced promotional language such as "played a key role" and "attracted investment", which are considered non-neutral phrasing per Wikipedia’s neutral point of view policy.

Since this is a biography of a living person, it’s especially important that all content be phrased neutrally and supported by reliable, verifiable sources. Accordingly, your changes were reverted.

Please review our content guidelines before making similar edits again. If you're uncertain, feel free to use the article's talk page to propose changes.

Thank you for your contributions and understanding.

The Keith Dinnie article contained multiple errors - incorrect caps, formatting issues, missing italics, reference to subject by first name, etc. I have fixed them; you can see my changes here. Especially take a look at the changes I made to your formatting of the headers and lists, which were very non-standard and needed a lot of cleanup.

Please use the standard format going forward, and make sure you have reviewed the Manual of Style, which I'll link below. Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 14:51, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Keith Dinnie, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 14:51, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
