The plot section is long, which may not inherently be a problem, but it is completely unsourced. The sources on 'reception' are good. However, source 2 is really just a passing one, as it shows that JK Rowling had in fact aligned herself with gender critical figures, but it doesn't actually have anything to do with the novel.

Hi Asilvering! Thanks for the feedback. The source in question was meant to show that JK Rowling publicly aligned herself with gender critical figures in the 2010s. Caldwell's similarities to her, which I mention in the sentences immediately following this, are supported with citations from the book. Hi, appreciate the feedback. I'm not too precious about big deletions if it makes the article stronger, but I think some of the pruning (especially post-Foot) was a bit overzealous! There's plenty there that can be "salvaged" that doesn't rely on Taaffe or the Socialist Party/Militant, but I'm happy to let someone else take a crack at it if you don't fancy going through my old draft with a hedge trimmer. Happy to have a look for some more neutral sources if needed.
