December 2024
[edit] Hello, I'm Cerebral726. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of publishers of children's books have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Cerebral726 (talk) 14:05, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, I thought the article wanted us to add more to the list as per our experience.
- I will learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you Kolkata.gurgaon (talk) 15:12, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Children's book illustration. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. - Hi, Thank you for your valuable feedback on my article. I understand that it needs to be more neutral and focused on summarizing information from secondary, reliable sources, rather than containing opinions or original research. I would like to edit the article to make it more suitable for publication, and would be grateful for your help in refining it to meet the encyclopedic tone and requirements. If you have any specific suggestions or examples on how to better align it with these guidelines, I would greatly appreciate your input. Looking forward to hearing from you! Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to complementary and alternative medicine, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

[edit] Hi Kolkata.gurgaon! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Bon courage (talk) 11:03, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
- sure, thank you for your suggestion. I will take care of it. Best... Kolkata.gurgaon (talk) 11:31, 30 March 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Best Train Routes Across Europe
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Best Train Routes Across Europe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fram (talk) 08:19, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Tacyarg. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Bible for children seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please avoid adjectives like "vibrant" or "comprehensive", unless you are quoting a reliable source. Thanks. Tacyarg (talk) 06:07, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
