User talk:Jagdishsarai
Welcome
[edit]Hello, Jagdishsarai, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you created was Jagdish Sarai (Singh), which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! 220 of Borg 09:04, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Jagdish Sarai (Singh)
[edit]Hello Jagdishsarai,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Jagdish Sarai (Singh) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. 220 of Borg 09:06, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

- Hi Phychonaut,
- This is About the page Lovely Professional University, which I edited. You removed the edit because a Donating copyrighted materials I check that page and also related pages as well. that content we are donating to Wikipedia and never publish to any other site and also we don't have any problem if Wikipedia want to use. I just want to know please just tell me what is problem in that content and how to change/modify or I forget to check or tick any Wikipedia guide line ..? Please Guide me. Thank you. (talk)
- Hello again. I've moved your comment above from my talk page to this one—it's best to keep conversations together rather than splitting them across pages. I'm delighted that the university has agreed to donate its text, but it should know that by doing so it agrees that the text can be published not just on Wikipedia, but also on any third-party site, and that the text can also be modified by anyone on Wikipedia and by third parties. If the University does not agree to these terms, then you cannot use the text on Wikipedia. However, if these terms are agreeable, please follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials#Granting us permission to copy material already online. If there is anything about that procedure that you do not understand, you can ask a question at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. —Psychonaut (talk) 06:35, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of GNA University
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on GNA University requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://gna.university/?page_id=1624. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nova Anglia College, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 05:34, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit]
Hello Jagdishsarai. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Nova Anglia College, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jagdishsarai. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jagdishsarai|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Fancy Refrigerator (talk) 10:07, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hello,
- Thank you for your message and for pointing out the paid editing disclosure requirements.
- I’ve now added the following disclosure to my user page as requested:
{{paid|user=Jagdishsarai|employer=Nova Anglia College|client=Nova Anglia College}}
- To clarify, I have not received any payment for these edits. A friend of mine who works in the IT department at Nova Anglia College asked for my help in creating a basic Wikipedia entry, and I agreed to assist in good faith. However, I understand that this still qualifies as a conflict of interest under Wikipedia’s guidelines, so I want to fully comply with all policies.
- I’ve done my best to keep the content neutral and sourced from reliable references. If there are any parts of the article or edits that need improvement or discussion, I would really appreciate your guidance.
- Thank you again, and I’m happy to work through the proper process to help get the article in shape for approval.
- Kind regards,
- Jagdishsarai Jagdishsarai (talk) 10:36, 19 June 2025 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Harpreet Kaur.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Harpreet Kaur.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Johnj1995 (talk) 23:13, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Nova Anglia College
[edit]Hello Jagdishsarai, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Nova Anglia College, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nova Anglia College.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Fancy Refrigerator}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

- @Fancy Refrigerator: Thank you for starting the discussion and reviewing the article.
- I’d like to clarify that Nova Anglia College is a registered higher education provider in Australia, listed under TEQSA (PRV14356) and CRICOS (04265J). The college has been featured in several reliable media sources such as *Forbes Scotland*, *International Business Times*, and *ANZECOM*, which are cited in the article. The institution also offers a government-accredited bachelor's degree in electric vehicle technology — the first of its kind in Australia — which has been independently reported on by those outlets.
- I understand that notability and coverage are important, and I am happy to improve the article further if needed. Please let me know if any specific sections should be revised or strengthened.
- Thanks again for your time and feedback. Jagdishsarai (talk) 05:31, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
