January 2025: Liang Wenfeng's portrait picture

[edit]

Hi Hectordej7544. I am sorry to inform you that the image you uploaded and added to the Liang Wenfeng entry is a wrong image. The picture you uploaded is a namesake person who serves as the director of brand operation center (品牌运营中心总监) at Foshan Badis New Building Materials Co., Ltd. (佛山市巴迪斯新型建材有限公司), according to the 2021 Sohu News article. Please check carefully whether it is the same person or just a namesake person when adding a person's portrait picture. It should be noted that there are many people with the same name, and Wikipedia editors must pay close attention to this issue. In addition, copyright issues need to be taken into consideration. March 2025

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Talib1101. An edit that you recently made to Talk:United States government group chat leak seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 1101 (talk) 08:54, 29 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Yusuf7

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Yusuf7 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. A tag has been placed on Yusuf7n requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Hello Hectordej7544, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, 1959 Dwight D. Eisenhower visit to Spain, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/1959 Dwight D. Eisenhower visit to Spain.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Noleander}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Ways to improve Brooklyn Bridge Sailboat Collision

[edit]

Hello, Hectordej7544,

Thank you for creating Brooklyn Bridge Sailboat Collision.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Wikipedia is not a newspaper. And this article has no sources at all except Twitter feeds. Better to wait for some sources to become available, there's no rush.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Noleander}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Thanks for your contributions to Brooklyn Bridge Sailboat Collision. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a newspaper. This event may become notable in a few days when it gets some decent sources but for now it should be left in draft space. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Noleander (talk) 01:59, 18 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
