Declined speedy deletion: Jet Set Records
[edit]Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your A7 speedy deletion nomination of Jet Set Records because there is a credible claim of significance, which is a lower bar than notability. If you believe Jet Set Records does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, please feel free to nominate the article for deletion via AFD. Thank you! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 03:01, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

The article Serellan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
non-notable. This company appears to no longer exist. Its domain name listed on this Wikipedia Page is a dead link. Steam shows it has two games for sale but the latest game is from 2016. The page says it was founded in 2011 by a single individual but doesn’t explain anything more. The last news story I can find is from 2018. It’s possible this page was notable at one point but is no longer notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:30, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
Wow, I don't think I've seen a WP:GARAGE band article survive in mainspace for that long! That beats my previous find of Kuda Bux (band) (AfD) easily.... Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:53, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- Seems like the type of thing that would be kept on the record books or something. GamerPro64 10:55, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- I think the history of the article should be preserved for prosperity:

- Despite all these edits, that made no material difference to the article whatsoever, the article met the criteria of A7 at all times. I agree, this is one for the record books. I believe it was Beyond My Ken that once wrote "Start with an article that looks like shit and reads like it was written by a high-school dropout. A hundred edits later, take another look at the article – and it still looks and reads like shit. That's because the intervening edits did useful things like replace m-dashes with n-dashes, capitalized the first letters of template names, added interwiki links, vandalized and reverted the vandalism, made sure that bold text was being used as laid down in the manual of style, removed extraneous blank lines and miscellaneous other actions which did not, in any fundamental way, improve the article" ... and this is a prime example of that. Speedy deletion declined: Neverthought Films
[edit]Hello GamerPro64, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Neverthought Films, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. ThadeusOfNazereth(he/him)Talk to Me! 23:49, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
