Carti AI

[edit]

Hi! Please stop disruptive editing on articles about Playboi Carti's speculated use of AI. You insist that it's a "hoax" but haven't provided any reliable source indicating such. Citing a tweet from Carti's friend is not enough. Nice4What (talk · contribs) – (Thanks ) 01:37, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

He was there at the session, which makes him a reliable source.
In addition, much of the evidence, such as the other alleged "AI references", have all been proven to be faked with no involvement from Carti's team whatsoever. It's not disruptive editing I'm doing, I'm helping to correct rampant disinformation. Ezlo Jeslan (talk) 01:41, 14 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You can not call it a "hoax" based on your own conclusions; a reliable source needs to call it a hoax. As I stated elsewhere, Carti's friend's Twitter is not a reliable source. Also, your claim that the alleged leaked demos "were later proven to be created by leakers with no involvement from Carti's team" is not supported by the source provided. Please stop edit warring. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Opium (record label), without citing a reliable source (which Apple music is not). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Lil Happy Lil Sad :): 02:52, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

How is Apple not a reliable source? It clearly shows that Nast’s new song was released via Opium.
Furthermore, YouTube data also shows it was distributed by Foundation Media, which distributed Ken and HXG’s first albums. Nast’s affiliation with ASAP Mob makes him trustworthy, and the fact that the song lists Opium as a label and was distributed by Foundation confirms it. I have warned you before about speculation and opinions in the VShojo article. Please avoid bias remarks and provide valid sources. Thank you. --WashuOtaku (talk) 18:41, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The reactions do not meet Wikipedia standards, see WP:REACTIONS. Unless they can hold-up on their own, their are just additional information that provide no value added to the article. This is the reason I removed them. It also does not help that they are backed by the social media posts and not an third-party source referencing them. Hope this helps explain the rational. --WashuOtaku (talk) 01:40, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

They are, the Siliconera citations are right there. Ezlo Jeslan (talk) 01:57, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then you do not need the social media posts, that covers it. That said, I still disapprove of the reactions. --WashuOtaku (talk) 02:06, 23 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the defunct date, I do not appreciate it when I give a good faith effort sharing my rational on why it should be left blank and simply being ignored. To avoid an edit war, I am backing down for now; but I still encourage you to share your editorial thoughts in the talk page. And please remember, we all have the same goal here. --WashuOtaku (talk) 22:32, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Be aware of the the three-revert rule. Instead of edit warring, discuss changes on the article's talk page. Do not revert any more edits at VShojo. Any further reverts will be brought up at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring. Grayfell (talk) 01:11, 25 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
