DYK for Burgle Bros
[edit]On 14 June 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Burgle Bros, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the box of Burgle Bros 2 transforms into a two-layer game board (pictured)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Burgle Bros. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Burgle Bros), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Draft
[edit]Hi thanks for responding to my draft. Could I please have some clarification to why my sources are not sufficient? The previous person who reviewed my work said these sources were good but I needed to work on the tone. I have done so and I would appreciate if you could get back to me. Mrwikiguy1 (talk) 03:24, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Mrwikiguy1 sorry for the late reply. The main problem with your draft is a lack of significant coverage, i.e. sources about the school specifically. Also, just curious, where did the previous reviewer say the sources were good? Because their reply doesn't say that. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 12:27, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:41, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Hello Thanks for been my mentor, i would love to write an article about a musical artiste. Your help and guidance will be very much appreciated. --Jhunior12 (talk) 21:57, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Jhunior12 I'm assuming you're referring to Draft:Scrip T? If so, you need to include more reliable sources in order to establish notability. See Help:Your first article for more information. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 03:07, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
The DCWC is back!
[edit]
Hey CanonNi, the Developing Countries WikiContest will be returning for a second year, and sign-ups are now open! The contest will run from 1 July to 30 September, and the objective remains the same: improve as many articles relating to developing countries as you can to help fight systemic bias on Wikipedia.
In other news, we have a new face on the coordinator team this year: last year's sixth-place finisher, Arconning (talk · contribs)! The coordinators would like to extend a sincere thanks to Ixtal (talk · contribs), who is leaving the team, without whom the contest would not exist. After feedback from contestants last year, the scoring rules are undergoing some modifications; the new rules and a summary of the changes made will be posted to the contest talk page shortly.
If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page or contact one of the coordinators: Arconning (talk · contribs), sawyer777 (talk · contribs), or TechnoSquirrel69 (talk · contribs). - @Kuzeyakkaya you can simply delete the template that says "Review waiting". User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 10:12, 19 June 2025 (UTC)

- @Hana5599 Google Translate says you're asking about mobile games? If so, Wikipedia isn't the right place for that. (Google Dịch nói rằng bạn đang hỏi về trò chơi di động? Nếu vậy, Wikipedia không phải là nơi phù hợp cho việc đó.) User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 06:15, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
Question about draft
[edit]Hi thanks for responding to my draft. Could you please give some clarification to why my sources are not reliable? Which sources specifically should be changed? All of them are taken from websites about regional history or news sources. SlavaFire (talk) 10:47, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- @SlavaFire hi. The main problem is not the reliability of sources, but rather a lack thereof in parts of the draft. For example, the "Kharkov Merchant Branch" section consists of 8 paragraphs, only half of which cite a source, while "Legacy" has no sources at all. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 11:45, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hello. Fixed the entire article. Can you take a look again? Thank you. SlavaFire (talk) 19:28, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- You have resubmitted the draft for review, and a different reviewer will give feedback soon. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 14:39, 21 June 2025 (UTC)

Draft - Chris Boshuizen
[edit]Hi, it seems you are getting a lot of messages but thank you for reviewing my draft. I wanted to clarify the what you said around referencing. How is it unreliable to use those sources just to confirm basic facts like the company’s existence, the release date of an album, or what the company does? These seem like straightforward details that are okay to verify with primary sources and are unsusceptible to any bias. For instance when I reference the 'our team' page for Planet Labs to show that he is listed as a co-founder how is that not reliable if anything that would be the most reliable source as it is primary.
Thanks, again Apple24628 (talk) 24:22, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Apple24628 yes, those sources may be usable for confirming basic facts, but that's all they're useful for. Your draft lacks enough independent sources to establish notability. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 13:22, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

I am working on Draft:Neel but ...
[edit]I am working on Draft:Neel, and I noticed that many location articles have an infobox at the top. I added coordinates by copying the code from Google, but I realized this is not the right place for it. I see that some location articles have coordinates within the infobox. Could you please help me create a proper infobox for this article? Arbaz Thakur (talk) 21:01, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Arbaz Thakur I added a simple infobox settlement based on information in the draft. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 09:59, 23 June 2025 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article F1 24 you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Jaguar -- Jaguar (talk) 10:46, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
The article F1 24 you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article needs changes or clarifications to meet the good article criteria. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:F1 24 and Talk:F1 24/GA1 for issues which need to be addressed. AfD process
[edit]I have participated in the AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Occupied Palestinian territories and added my comment. I also looked at how other users added their comments and learned from them. This is my first comment in such process. After reviewing the article, I added my comment as Keep. Could you please check if I did it correctly? Arbaz Thakur (talk) 08:26, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Arbaz Thakur yes, that is generally how you participate in AfDs - a simple keep or delete with a policy-based rationale. However, (and this isn't your fault, I know you just weren't aware) per WP:ARBPIA, a series of restrictions authorized by the Arbitration Committee, only extended-confirmed editors may participate in the discussion. I've therefore struck your vote and will leave you a message with more info on your talk page. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 12:58, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, how can I create a citation? --Muhammad Gaddafi Rabiu (talk) 16:50, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Muhammad Gaddafi Rabiu Help:Referencing for beginners is a nice tutorial for creating citations. I can also help create one for you if you give me the source. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 10:35, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
June Backlog Drive is almost over!
[edit]
Hi! Thanks for participating in the Articles for Creation June Backlog Drive! We've done amazing work so far, dropping the backlog by more than 2000 drafts already. We have around 200 drafts outstanding, and we need your help to get that down to zero in 5 days. We can do this, but we need all hands on deck to make this happen. A list of the pending drafts can be found at WP:AFCSORT, where you can select submissions in your area of interest. Thank you so much for your work so far, and happy reviewing! – DreamRimmer ■ 01:29, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
Question from Goldflyboy (20:24, 25 June 2025)
[edit]I want to create a biography for an artiste , I'm getting difficulty in doing so,help me out and also to add picture also. --Goldflyboy (talk) 20:24, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Goldflyboy writing about yourself is a bad idea, and your draft is written in a promotional tone. I've tagged it for deletion accordingly. Please see Help:Your first article to understand what a proper article needs. User:CanonNi (💬 • ✍️) 01:09, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
