Thanks for your help

[edit]

Thanks for your help with the Brantford 99ers and adding reliable sources to many other junior ice hockey teams. I could also use help with the senior ice hockey teams and Allan Cup Hockey if you have time! Flibirigit (talk) 17:16, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you edited Allan Cup Hockey today. Thanks! If you'are able to help, here are the items on my to do list for that league: Flibirigit (talk) 21:12, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are an awesome Wikipedian

British Columbia Hockey League

[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note your recent revert at this article.

Rather than deleting this section, perhaps you could write a paragraph more accurately explaining what happened to the Vees? The article as it reads today doesn't touch on the subject at all. 162 etc. (talk) 23:14, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I also note your recent edits at Penticton Vees (junior A), which I've reverted. Can you cite sources that more clearly explain the relationship between the former team and the new WHL team? 162 etc. (talk) 00:18, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The BCHL is independent of the WHL and the existence of a Penticton WHL franchise doesn't automatically negate the pre-existing BCHL franchise. The BCHL stated, on its website, "Vees ownership will retain its membership in the BCHL and will look to relocate in the near future".[1] This confirms the BCHL franchise still exists and is merely seeking a new home, not that it has ceased to be. In the interest of accuracy, we should avoid definitive statements about the BCHL Vees' ultimate fate until a relocation is officially announced.
