Don't @ me bruv

How do I add an existing article to a wikiproject? I believe that the King Crane Commission should be connected to the israel wikiproject. How do I do that?
Also what is the Sandbox for?

I added the {{WikiProject Israel}} template to the page, which should also put it in the relevant categories. Most WikiProjects should also have a templates page that list the templates it uses. Is that what you wanted? The sandbox is a page where you can make test edits to see if they'll work and how they'll look, etc. Alpha3031 (tc) 07:21, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

King Crane

[edit]

I noticed your peer review at King–Crane Commission while I was reading this article which another editor pointed me to. Regards, Onceinawhile (talk) 22:43, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. This had some really excellent facts. I do feel a little reticent to use it without knowing the exact sourcing. I still might use it if I end up expanding the article.
I just added a bunch more information to the article, as I managed to find the full document from the US Office of the Historian (now linked in the article). Onceinawhile (talk) 21:19, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. I'm hoping to see some of our older stale US articles improved! Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 19:17, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
