[edit] Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Qatar Art Center, from its old location at User talk:AymenAiblu. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 18:29, 28 June 2025 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit] Hello, AymenAiblu. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:05, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Dear Team — Thank you for your prompt response. I am not paid to do this by anyone, Qatar Art Center is a well known Art Residency and it deserves to be on Wikipedia. That is why I am writing about it. I used to work for them in the past, and that is how I know about them. 178.152.85.255 (talk) 10:11, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- (Please log into your account whenever editing. I assume, but don't know, that you are AymenAiblu?)
- Your earlier comment to this effect was just pointed out to me, that's why I deleted the paid-editing query I had posted here, and instead posted this general conflict of interest (COI) one. Even if you're no longer employed by this organisation, you are still writing about a recent ex-employer, which gives rise to an obvious COI which needs to be disclosed. You will find the instructions for disclosing in the message above, esp. in the 3rd bullet point starting "disclose..." -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:18, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
