ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

Never change sourced text just because you don't like it or consider it wrong. Doug Weller talk 11:25, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- There is no citation for that text where used. What source? Arkenstrone (talk) 04:20, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- There doesn't have to be a source where used, see WP:LEAD. Sources are meant to be in the body of the article, although sometimes there are also sources in the lead. Doug Weller talk 09:21, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- I looked up the word "pseudoarchaeological" that appears in the lead, and it doesn't appear anywhere else in the article nor is it cited. Arkenstrone (talk) 21:23, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

People's Party
[edit]I don't want to leave you a templated warning, but in hockey it's a 10-minute penalty to be the third person in a fight. Revert warring with someone who is revert warring is still revert warring; there's no "they did it first!" at the edit warring noticeboard. Discussion will determine whether or not the PPC should be included in the election article or not, and it's completely fine to not do anything with the content until that's settled, even if other people want to edit war over it. Cheers. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 17:41, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. I won't be reverting any more edits. I just reverted the one, and manually added in the other. This user obviously has an axe to grind. But I will leave it to other editors to do the right thing. Arkenstrone (talk) 19:47, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
