Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Sudhan are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. Origins of Sudhans

[edit]

Hello, I have seen you are working on Draft:Origin of Sudhans. I recommend you add this as a section under the Sudhan article, in either the Sudhan#History and origins or Alleged Origins and History section. You can include your point of view with cited sources; I think that would be better.

The Sudhan are a major Muslim tribe in the Pahari hills of AJK. Some claim they descend from Pahari Brahmins, others from Sadozai Pashtuns. Genetically, most Sudhans cluster with Pothohar-Pahari Brahmins (Mohyal), though outliers do show possible Pashtun affinity. The Sudhan tribe is ethnolinguistically classified as part of the Pahari community. In the book Socio-economic Roots of Unrest in Jammu and Kashmir (1931-47) by S.P. Vaid, it is mentioned that Sudhans are descendants of Sudhan Brahmins who inhabited Sudhanoti District of Poonch Jagir.
