Editorial philosophy

[edit]

I believe Wikipedia flourishes when we focus on improving and refining articles rather than prematurely deleting them. While notability and verifiability are foundational to Wikipedia’s content policies, we should take a constructive approach, enhancing underdeveloped pages before considering deletion. In accordance with deletion and notability guidelines, content should be evaluated fairly, particularly for underrepresented topics such as local history or lesser-known subjects. Wikipedia’s mission is to present reliable information across a broad spectrum, and many articles can be saved and improved with additional research and proper citation rather than being removed.
