I'm an intermediate (I hope) Wikipedian who's eager to continue learning, and also in getting more involved with the community. I'm an overachiever with the time-management skills of a caffeinated ferret, so please bear with me as I disappear for months at a time, then return with spurts of prodicitivty.

That being said, I've been here for some time (see below), but this whole thing is still fairly mystifying for me. I would love to have a teacher/mentor, but I don't know if that's a thing here.
